The two Gronkowski's will have a good season. Their WR stocks are ridiculous this season too.

Is it wrong to secretly hope that James Jones gets injured at some point so Chastin West gets promoted from the practice squad and gets some game time because I think he's better than Jones?

Definitely a possibility. Bray was phenomenal. Nate Solder had an awesome first game as well at Guard. Gronkowski and Hernandez both looked very strong at Tight-End, sure they'll improve even more as the season goes along.

Only downside was the injury to Koppen. Luckily Connolly stepped up big time.

Bills QB had a blinder.

Got to watch the Patriots game last night while I was working, absolutely amazing performance from Brady. Definitely announcing their intent to be at the 'bowl this season.

Pats v Packers for the super bowl, anyone?

Detroit have shown that they're going to be a much stronger team this year. NFC North and AFC East look like the toughest divisions by some way.

The nly real surprise result so far was the Giants.

Did anyone see Cam Newton's performance for the Panthers? First decent game he's played so far.

Baltimore absolutely messed up the Steelers wow.

Results so far:

Packers 42-34 Saints
Ravens 35-7 Steelers
Bears 30-12 Falcons
Browns 17-27 Bengals
Texans 34-7 Colts
Jaguars 16-14 Titans
Chiefs 7-41 Bills
Rams 13-31 Eagles
Buccaneers 20-27 Lions
Cardinals 28-21 Panthers
Chargers 24-17 Vikings
Redskins 28-14 Giants
49ers 33-17 Seahawks

Some really surprising results for mine.
Ravens thrashing the Steelers
Giants going down to the Redskins
Browns going down to the Bengals.
Lions did well to beat the Buccaneers as well

For the SIXTH time today, Steelers cough the ball up in the red zone. Dumbfounding.

EDIT: Seven.

Steelers have now had as many turnovers as they've scored points #-o Hard to believe these guys made the 'bowl based on this performance.

Roethlisburger's QB rating was 63.05.
Compared to Flacco's 117.6.

Meanwhile in Houston...
Collins threw for 82.3
Schaub threw for 78.5 ...in a 34-7 win. Pity there wasn't a decent QB out there to see a real mauling.

Even Fitzpatrick for the Bills threw a 133 game.

Ben Roelisburger has been absolutely terrible. Fucks my dream team right up when he's been in the red zone once all fucking game. Right now he's completed 3 of his last 9 passes and is 14/27. EDIT: And now a second interception, that's 5 turnovers from the Steelers. Every time they get in the fucking red zone, they fuck it up!

Colts came damn close to being shut out for the first time in 18 years with Kerry Collins at the controls. Not a good look for a Manning-less Indianapolis.

Loving the fact that Brian Urlacher scored a touchdown too.

I don't like them taking a knee. The touchbacks are boring to watch. I like to see them try and gain ground and I like to see the defence have a chance to keep them to less than 20. Every yard makes a difference. He'd been told to take the touchback on the previous three punts and it kind of defeats the purpose for recruiting him.

Almost gets himself wiped out by John Kuhn in the process  Then Kuhn gives him the little hurry up and he blows them apart. Absolutely sensational.

The disbelief in the commentator's voice is awesome too "He was down! This is unbelievable! They flip him up-side-down! Another slip. Look at that! He basically does a barrel roll and comes out and scores a touchdown. SON. OF. A GUN."

Looking forward to the Patriots on Monday. Talking to one of my mates I've become close to this year about the NFL, turns out he's also a Patriots fan :d

Three sacks, 1 recovered fumble and a TD scored 34 points. Points conceded aren't considered in the equation.

Neither, it seems, is how effective the QB is. Despite the fact that Rodgers scored 132.8 compared to Brees 112.3, Brees scored more fantasy points.

What a game. Packers win 42-34, stopping the Saints with the last play of the game on the half yard line.

Jennings, Rodgers and Cobb were amazing.

Brees was unlucky, he played a really good game.

In a match where defence has been secondary, its the Packers defence that saves the day. Pack wins 42-34 surviving a defensive interference call on the final play to come up with the win!
