So it's a broken leg for Sagna. Same leg as the one at Sp*rs. Seems it happened earlier in the match and played on and it got the better of him when he went to control the ball. Horrible news for him with him missing the Euro's now.

Just goes from bad to worse.

Broken leg?!?!?!? How the fuck? It was so innocuous.

Like I said, it apparently happened when he got a kick, when he went down, I think it was just the final straw when he controlled the ball

Watching the game again for soem reason, Sagna went down only 30 seconds prior to when he attempted to control the ball.

Yeah he gets a kick/stamp from Bradley Johnson but gets back up and goes down for good when he goes to control the ball.

Last time I felt this sick about a result and performance was probably the 4-3 at Blackburn.

Norwich should've had one, we should've had two.

Although tbf Ramsey should've been sent off and Benayoun was lucky to stay on the pitch

Also when you are denied a 100% stonewall penalty in the 89th min when it's 3-3 of course he's going to fucking bitch

True, but the frequency of Wenger's rants amuse me greatly. He hardly bitches when they win but always has something to say when they don't.

Dark day. Do not have words to express how cut I am over this one.

It appears that theres a new rule where by if a 'should be penalty' isn't given then the other team has license to commit as many fouls and handballs in the box as they like without getting any punishment whatsoever. That's a great message to send to the players isn't it?

Our own fault though in the end with those momentary lapses in defence and so many missed easy chances. Gibbs should have had a brace, Benayoun should have had a hatrick and RVP should have had more than 5 without even including the 2 penalties he should have been given.

I think if Arteta was never injured Arsenal would have kept on smooth sailing and be guaranteed 3rd place by now.
I like Ramsey, I think he's a top bloke and he loves the club..... but I just wish he had never existed.
Wenger puts way too much trust in him.

Please Aston Villa [-o<

Think I have finally realized that we need a pure defensive midfielder. In our current 2 man pivot, both players are identical - Song is nearly identical to Arteta and Ramsey, just bigger so creates the illusion that he is more defensive. Song would be a great player to have alongside a pure defensive midfielder.

In tough games we could go

M'Vila-Song in midfield which would be very hard to breakdown.

I think Song's biggest problem is not having any real competition for his spot, means he can at times get very complacent because he knows his spot is safe.

Agree.
Having said that it works alot better with Arteta and Song.
Let's just hope by the end of the season we're in a position to attract a good one.

Another problem I'm starting to accept is Vermaelen. He's such a likeable player and so important to the team's morale that I think he gets overrated alot.
He get's wrong footed way too often for a centreback and has been largely responsible for many of our goals conceded lately imo. Vertonghen is looking more and more appealing to me.

I wouldn't say he's overrated, but it's looking more and more like him and Kosicleny just don't work together. Mertesacker would've been good yesterday to just have that calming presence at the back.

At least he scores them as well, got a good eye for a header, makes him a threat Arsenal really don't usually have.

In all the doom and gloom yesterday there was yet another great performance from Koscielny

3/3 tackles, 5 interceptions, 1 block, 7/9 clearances, 4/4 headed clearances, 4/4 aerial duels.

Solid as ever. We really would be fucked without him.

Wouldst mind seeing this ext year as our back four:

Sagna-Koscielny-Mertesacker-Vermaelan

Would be solid, and Vermaelan already plays LB decently for Belgium.

Only problem being that he hates playing at leftback with a passion

That's true, just because he's a defender we can't dismiss the games he's won us in the attacking end.

+1 Aside from the shirt pull he was brilliant like always!

If we can pick up Vertonghen for under 10 mill it haaas to be worth it.

So relieved after those results. Let's smash West Brom and take third. Who would of thought that after we were 15th at the beginning of the season?

And, if what Bacary is saying is true, thats absolutely disgusting by Bradley Johnson and should be investigated.

Arsenal reveal home kit for 2012/13 season

Arsenal Football Club is proud to unveil its new home kit for the 2012/2013 season.

Available to pre-order from Club stores and online at www.arsenaldirect.com, the playing kit features a blue hoop detail inspired by the home kit socks worn in the 1930s under legendary manager Herbert Chapman.

As is traditional with the north London club, the world renowned red and white is the main colour way in the shirt, with a block red body and white sleeves.

Click here for pictures of the new kit

Further details in the shirt include the outer back neck graphic which references the WM formation that Chapman pioneered so successfully, along with the inner back graphic which reads “Victoria, Concordia, Crescit” – the Club’s long-held motto since 1948 which translates as Victory through Harmony*.

The origins of the blue (obsidian) design features lie in Chapman’s innovative approach to the game. Arsenal manager between 1925 and 1934, his guidance took the Club to three league titles and an FA cup victory during that time.

Chapman was a modernising tactician, advocated the use of numbered shirts and white balls, and also made significant changes to the Club’s kit for the 1933/34 season. In that year white sleeves were added to the previously all-red shirt and blue hoops were also introduced to the socks. Chapman’s rationale for these innovations was he wanted to maximise player visibility, making it easier for his players to pick each other out on the field of play.

Arsenal’s Theo Walcott commented: “The players always get excited about trying on kits for the first time, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Arsenal is a club with an incredible history and to see this recognised in such a classy and modern kit is brilliant.”

The shirt’s crest reverts back to Arsenal’s primary design, having sported a unique 125th anniversary version for the 2011/12 season.

The kit is available for pre-order from Monday, May 7 and will be available in stores from June 7. Anyone ordering the kit from an Arsenal retail channel will receive a limited edition collector’s box and back pack (while stocks last).

Will take some getting used to the sleeves but the Arsenal kit is always a decent.

How about Sagna, is he serious? He thinks Johnson broke his leg on purpose.

have to say the more I look at that kit the more I'm warming up to it and getting used to the sleeves

I don't know if Sagna is serious, only him and Johnson know what really happened and there's no replay that gives you any idea of what happened. I think a lot of it is a case of him just being angry and upset that he's going to miss the Euros now.

At least we're not Barcelona. Their kit's just keep getting worse since the Qatar foundation got on board.

Amazing that Sanga has the nerve to accuse Johnson of breaking his leg on purpose. Sagna was unfortunate but Johnson should take him to court for unsubstantiable slander. There's no video evidence that Johnson set out to break his leg.

The rumoured away kit is very similar to this one we had a few seasons ago.
