The Ox is going to be a star. On another note, a pretty decent result that is let down by our home result. So many what ifs, but in the end I'm ok with being eliminated, the FA cup is ours to lose and we need to get some league form.

Getting knocked out against the Greeks this year hurts just as much as losing to Real Madrid last year, trust me. Sorry, had to point this out

As much as I don't want to sound like typical Wenger, 2-4th place in the league really is a trophy in itself. We're ALWAYS in the UCL, and pretty much always make it out of group stage. How many other teams can say similar? We celebrate St Totteringhams Day every single year. This year will be our 19th consecutive season of doing so. TBH I'll be happy if we manage to win the Cup, but I won't feel like the "drought" is over, I won't miraculously think the many years of no trophies will have been made up for. Because I genuinely don't see a drought. We're a team that plays one of the most attractive brands of football in the world. We're youth-focused. We are financially not-in-deep-shit like most other clubs. Wenger is the man. Not many other managers could sign so many players, and keep them in love with the club, with the lack of wages we as a club are prepared to pay (in comparison to the rest of the league). oh wow...   wenger really has brainwashed you all

Fucking loved that moment in the second half where Per celebrated that interception as if he'd scored a goal (if anyone's giffed that please post!). That's what the idiots with their misplaced sense of entitlement and opinions gleaned from listening to TalkSport that always go on about winning trophies and spending money and 'Wenger Out!' bollocks need to realise, this bunch of players really give shit (as that moment from Per demonstrates) and the wait for a trophy is killing them and Arsene just as much as it's killing you. And if you think there is anyone at the club from Arsene, to Mesut Ozil, to the fucking kit man that isn't doing all they can to try and put an end to the wait for a trophy or doesn't get as frustrated as you every season, think again. The only time I get really annoyed watching Arsenal is those half-arsed performances where it looks like some of the players don't care, and that's because they've all demonstrated before that that's not the case.

Will be genuinely sad to see Fabianski go in the summer. Whatever team gets him will be lucky yp have him. Just a shame Szczesny is in good form as well otherwise Fabianski would be our #1. Who knows, if he hadn't got injured at the back end of last season he might have been our #1 right now.

"we come up against the best teams" well how about actually being the best team? wengers had plenty of time to make you the best and he hasnt, hes failed. arsenal are basically glorified rotting, if that makes sense

Manages to hold onto it's champions league spot and it's status as one of the worlds biggest clubs through all of that (with a net transfer spend of zero). Then when the debt is finally close to being paid off we start spending and improving again. Would you really call that rotting? United maybe now that they lost SAF, but Arsenal is on the way up.

Gibbs and Monreal both a good chance of being back for the derby. Kallstrom also a good chance of being available. Ramsey not quite back to full training just yet.

Gibbs doubtful, Monreal definitely back. Ozil 4 weeks and Ramsey has been experiencing pain in his thigh so still 2 more weeks away.

Perfectly said. This year maybe and definitely in the next few years trophies will be won by arsenal again. Need to start preventing severe injury tolls tho

I don't think I'll be able to come on this forum ever again if Soldado scores the winner tonight.

Fucking MASSIVE win. First win at WHL since 2007 and the first time we've won 3 derbies in a row since 1989

That was an unnecessary wild ride, if ox had finished his early chance it would have been over. Spuds heaped on the pressure and the per/kos duo was immense for the win.

At least one of your CB's needs to be in the team of the year. Absorbed a lot of pressure and tbh it was an ugly win i think.
Can't have any complaints about the game. Credit to Arsenal for a strong performance.

Haven't thought about Team of the Year yet. It's getting to that point isn't it?!
Keeper... I really have no idea tbh.
Coleman you'd have to think is a shoe in for RB, he's been a tank.
CBs... Yeah probably one Arse CB, dunno which. For other CB I'm not sure.. Kompany hasn't been amazing but always good, none of our CBs can lay claim, Terry/Cahill not standout. Not sure.
LB Shaw ?
Midfield Nominations... Yaya, Gerrard, Lallana, Wilshere? Ramsey would have been shoe in if not for injures...
Front 3 Hazard Sturridge Suarez. Without a doubt

If Sol Campbell doesn't get in the ToTY, the FA are racist.
Boss HAS to be in it. Can't see any other Arsenal players other than maybe Sczez - no one has played consistently enough IMO.
Hard choice imno to not have Aguero in a ToTY
