Diaby apparently set to play for the U21's tonight. His first game in 13 months.

Also, no one here has called for Arsene to be sacked, just that it might be time he leave of his own accord. And no one claims 4th is good enough for us, of course it's not. Our players kept their mouths shut this season for the most part. I was certainly optimistic. You guys on here seem to be less concerned with Spurs than most of the other Gooners I know who seem to enjoy watching us lose more than watching Le Arse win  The fapfest early on this season has certainly been tamed. I would love to trawl posts for some  's but you all know what you wrote ;)

There are a lot of Arsenal 'fans' who enjoy watching Arsenal lose more than watching them win. Twitter is full of them after we lose, but they mysteriously disappear whenever we win  They were absent for most of this season which was good.

Played 45 mins which is good to see. Is it just me or does he looked to have bulked up a bit in that picture?
Can't wait for Arsene to mutter the words "Like a new signing" ;)

I just can't take Diaby seriously as a footballer. And I never will.

What's so disappointing is he seemed to have turned a corner a few years ago. In 2008-09 he played 36 games in all competitions and in 2009-10 he played 40. Since then he's played 40 games in all competitions in 4 seasons.
What is funny is you look at Diaby and assume he's played hardly any football in his time at Arsenal, but only 27 other players have played more games in Wengers time at the club.

If a stiff breeze picks up I think he may well disintegrate entirely. sydneycroatia58 wrote:What's so disappointing is he seemed to have turned a corner a few years ago. Blame the fucking hack Dan Smith who is now rightly playing in Mens City League 2 Brisbane
Have to hope that this is the time Diaby finally makes it back. Such a ridiculously talented player.

That can't be Diaby. That 'man' is held together far to securely.

Here's Arsene talking about Diaby
"He had a little groin problem after [under-21] game so will not be available on Monday"
You couldn't make this shit up if you tried

You couldn't make this shit up if you tried  Seriously, some people just aren't made to play sport. But sometimes I wonder if some of the constantly injured players are just a bit soft, sometimes over playing a bit of soreness or tightness. Personally I hate missing games and from what I remember have only missed 1 game in the last 10 years because of injury and that was because I broke my big toe the night before a game. That doesn't mean I haven't been injured I just pushed through It because it drove me crazy watching my team play without me.

Diaby's injuries are more to do with side effects from having his ankle smashed into pieces than anything else.
