Yes, that's true but I was referring to his transfer activity. Ozil has obviously changed the perception but January was when he needed to strengthen because we were top and dominating but instead he wavered and well the rest of the season was almost inevitable.

So if he plays and keeps a cleansheet, Szczesny is guaranteed of at least sharing the golden glove award with Cech. Not a bad recovery for him this season considering how close he was to losing his #1 spot last season.

They're level now, clean sheet means he wins it.

That's why I said a guarantee of at least a share, because if Cech also keeps a clean sheet they'll still be tied ;)

Also remains to be seen whether he will play, or if Arsene gives Fab some gametime before the final.

Does anyone know if the Golden Glove is one of those awards where if 2 players are level it goes to the player with the least amount of minutes played? In which case if they finish level Cech wins it.

Jenkinson should start on Saturday, Sagna will still get a medal but we'll actually have RB who cares about the team rather than some extra $$$.

What is the latest you lot have heard about Sagna?

There are clubs strongly linked with him but I wouldn't be surprised if we were interested in him. We need to move Jones and Smalling into the middle so having two RB's is a must for us.

Read a few sources saying we've re-signed vela. I would be pretty happy about this, hopefully he can have a bigger impact than when he was last with us.

We'd be stupid not to sign Vela back for as little as 4m.

After his treatment at Arsenal I hope Vela tell's Arsene to eft off.

It would be like us going for Dos Santos again after wasting his talent like we did.

Would be devastatingly good, a threat on the counter and enough ball players to still play the way we want to play. I don't like it when we overload our team with playmakers like Cazorla or Wilshere on the wing, it hinders the way we play for the sake of a few more passes. Not to mention Giroud looks 100x better with runners around him so why not make the most out of his strengths.

Vela didn't get the chances he deserved.

He got chances and didn't do anything with them, hence why he was sold, for his sake and ours. Wasn't good enough at the time.
