SFC are still in negotiations with both Yorke and J.A (supposedly), but it doesn't take einstein to realise this. Mariners simply wont/cant/dont want to stump up Aloisi's asking price for a full year.

CCM actually lost 5 from 11 since he joined. Aloisi's boot has earned CCM 6 to 9 points.

You can hardly blame him for the Mariners drop in performance, especially considering the only real change, apart from more goals up front, was that they started hemorrhaging insane numbers of goals at the back.

Yep apart from the guidance and support he may have given the younger guys, i tend to agree with you he supposedly went with the mariners because of the grass roots famuli atmospher etc etc but he also took the big dollars as you would expect.. We needed strikers badly and we got them ,but then problems arose.sasha was going fine till he turned up and then it all went pear shaped as the king took his thrown and caused confusion whilst he settled in.....

Further ,whilst he may have given it is all i thought he was lacking in the last 4 matches with some shockers already mentioned. One moment in the grandfinal he was chasing down the ball towards the goal but was outrun by 2 of the younger jets. :-k
i reckon bridges will stay at the jets and Aloisi will stay on thats my prediction

You're kidding me right? 7 goals in 14 league games isn't a good investment?

I don't know what games you are watching but CCM would not have been at the GF without Aloisi's contribution to them.

It is is JOB...are you seriously considering that if you were offered substantially more money by a rival firm (whatever field of employment you are in) that has a higher profile you would not at least consider it. Geez...football fans can sometimes be so hypocritical. By the logic you are using he should have stayed at Osasuna because it would have been the loyal thing to do (even if they weren't paying him).

I don't think Yorke will come back to play with Sydney FC. It would be great if he did and im sure 99% of sydney fans agree with me. I have heard the odd suggestian if he does come back hell play for GGC(Gold Coast Galaxy).

^^ haha what about every other player in overseas leagues that switch teams in the same competition? Or what about all the NRL players that do that aswell?

Still playing the same teams aren't they? Of course its about money and winning Championships. Thats what professional sport is about.

it would be good for sydney but i dont think he wil come. and what is the point switching a-league clubs. your still going to verse the same teams. the only advantage would be a better chance to win the league. and money

Sports tonight had an interview with Dwight YORK the other night with him saying he'd love to come back to the A-League. I think it'd be great to see him in the A-League again. Sydney would have to sign him surely

Actually SFC offered him a contract mid season and he turned them down, stating that CCM acted like they "wanted him more" or something like that. Meh.

The fact is, SFC needs a striker who you can rely on to take the chance and put them away. That may or may not be Aloisi.
