Central coast Mariners star Midfielder Tom Pondeljak has signed a two year deal to return home to Melbourne after a three year stint with the Mariners. Tom will not be eligible for the ACL though!!!!

I thought you guys had a potentially sweet midfield last year but Merrick managed to kill it off.

we did have a sweet midfield last season but muscat was always in trouble, injuries didnt help and it took hernandez a while to get going. we finally showed off the potential when it was too late. hopefully the ACL can improve our game and we'll be ready for 08/09.
