As for the coins, serious injury? Are you kidding me? You think that he could have been seriously fucking damaged by a tiny coin? Maybe if one of the Everton fans had a modified gun that shot the fucking things, other than that impossibility there's no way it could have harmed him in any other way than a slight sting. Fuck me, everyone bitches a bit too much about the slightest amount of pain and heckling.

This wasn't a game, it was a farce. Have your win, even the most one-eyed and moronic of Liverpool fans should be able to see that we were robbed of any chance of making a game of it. I hope you're all happy with that little cunt Suarez, that cocksucker Atkinson and your 3 dirty points.

P.S. You useless twats have as much chance of making the ECL spots as we do. You can barely compete with a severely depleted, poor team when they have 11 men. That must hurt, mustn't it, oh mighty Liverpool.

All I can see is teeth. Also, it's nice to know you can't refute anything I just said.

He wouldn't have hit him on the follow through if he hadn't slid in studs up. It was a fierce tackle and although in years gone by it probably wouldn't have drawn criticism at all, these days a tackle like that is going to draw a yellow card 9 times out of 10 when you're airborn and have your studs showing. It was sheer dumb luck and the athleticism of Suarez that avoided his leg being broken in that tackle.

Re: the coins, I've had coins thrown at me split my face open. You're being hit by a hard metal object upwards of 60km/h. They can do real damage when they're thrown with malice.

Must really hurt, to be comprehensively outplayed for 80 minutes by a 'useless' side that isn't going to make Europe.

Luis Suarez disapproves.

i honeslty cant believe liverpool fans are trying to defend this. There is no defence

Im not expecting Suarez to not fall from contact, im just saying he should not milk it as there is nothing in it and its not really a tackle.

Its just silly and stupid, not a tackle, not a card, Suarez was not injured. there is no defence.

Accept it.

Surely, surely you are taking the piss. The athleticism of Suarez was the only thing that prevented him breaking a leg? I honestly cannot see how he came anywhere close to breaking his leg. At all. Without my blue tinted glasses on. You're surely just fucking with me. No-one I have spoken to regarding the tackle has agreed with what you just said. I just can't comprehend how his leg could come close to being broken.

Of course I'm bitter about it you dropkick, one of my team's players was sent off in ridiculous circumstances early on in the game which killed it as a contest. Like I said before, enjoy your tainted 3 points, you didn't deserve them based on the events that transpired.

Oh and I never said you'd fail to make Europe, I said you'd fail to make the Champions League. Have fun wasting your time in the Europa League boys.

Only problem with that theory being that it wasn't a reckless challenge. He got the ball, and all that took him into Suarez was his momentum, and would never have caused any injury to Suarez. It wasn't dangerous, reckless or even silly. It was a well time challenge for which he shouldn't have even been pulled up for a foul let alone sent off.

You keep going on about this studs up challenge. Problem being his studs are nowhere near Suarez and are down by the time they would've made contact with Suarez had they been near him. He won the ball cleanly and put his foot straight down to the ground going nowhere near Suarez.

Honestly liverpool fans, are you guys being serous or taking the piss. There are no studs up, its no where near wreckless, its a perfect tackle.

There is absolutely nothing, nothing that can be said to justify the sending off.

Studs up - no, wreckless - no, yellow card - no...............absolutely nothing.

its not even a shouting, its a nothing, its a brilliant tackle made to look so much worse by suarez, who nothing happened to. the proof is in this thread. open your eyes.

this argument is still going because the liverpool fans insist that it was a rough tackle. if the stud dig into the ground, then for mine, thats not wreckless as his studs ARE NOT SHOWING. there was nothing wreckless. he never lunge at Suarez, he goes for the ball and gets it. Liverpool have no defence.

It wasnt a perfect tackle at all, it was reckless, expecially in his own box. That being said it wasnt a penalty, and even though Suarez is one of my favourite players i absoloutly hate when players dive.

Zimbos is absolutely right

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

In celebration of our captain being back :)

I don't know whether I want him to start v Man Utd. It would be a big test for him to have that as his first start... If he gets 90 minutes under his belt in the reserves or something during the week, maybe.

so what if you studd a ball its dangerous????
the tackle was fine and shouldnt even have been a foul. he clearly got ball first and didnt even go through the player first.
if anyone is saying it should have been a red or a yellow or even a foul is bias.
seriously be big enough to admit the ref got it wrong and stop trying to defend the undefendable.

NOBODY (who supports Liverpool) has said that this could have possibly ruined the game and the ref made a howler, wasnt a yellow forget about it being red.

It wasn't a brilliant tackle.

Of course Suarez overreacted, 9/10 professional footballers do these days.

Maybe it did ruin the game, but I don't really give a shit, because we got the 3 points. I'm not going to cry that the 'contest' was ruined. If Everton got disqualified for wearing the wrong coloured shorts and we got all 3 points it would have ruined the game too, but I wouldn't care. 3 points, all that matters.

You can't seriously expect us to be more concerned about the contest and less about the win.

Can we PLEASE move on now? :)

i dont expect you to be more concerned about the tackle than the win, but to come out and say that it was a wreckless tackle and trying to justify the sending off is just silly.

how can everybody in the world agree that it is a great tackle and not worthy of anything and yet you guys trying to justify it?
