looking at either side of this jersey, it looks like the confirmed home & gk kits are next to this one. this almost definately confirms this picture is legit. i understand keepers have alternate kits & all, but seems odd that they'd make the main gk kit in instant clash with the away kit.

Home kits are so fucking sexy. Apparently they're meant to be based off the European success against Roma's kit back in the early 80s.

No one's even mentioned the new third kit which is just as awful as the away  If only the white on the collar and the cuffs continued all the way round on the home kit, would be a fantastic kit. Love the stripes.

Not surprising given Rodgers has said that it might be good not to have the distraction of europe next season.

I'll be honest, I can deal with the third kit.
The away kit though....

ffs seriously what were liverpool thinking in negotiations with warrior? pool - ok, the money sounds good. just make sure the home kit is simple, traditional, but with a modern twist & looks good. warrior - what about the away & third kit? pool - do whatever the fark you want. the away kit isn't a biggie, go crazy. and if we somehow get into europe, no one will watch us anyway - go nuts guys warrior -

Tackles won per 90 minutes this season -
Lucas Leiva - 4.4 Steve Sidwell -3.25 Claudio Yacob - 3.19 Geoff Cameron - 3.15 Morgan Schneiderlin - 3.11 Mohamed Diame - 3.10 Ramires - 3.09 Pablo Zabaleta - 2.91 Craig Gardner - 2.53 Robert Snodgrass - 2.46
Bossman.
Even more incredible is that he is 3rd overall in tackles won, even though he's only started 21 games out of 35.
Also liked this one -
@OptaJoe 12h 60 - S.Gerrard has created more goalscoring chances from open play than any other central midfielder in the PL in 2012-13. Option.

imno,Lucas is doing his job nuff said ;) ..... As for the kits - home kit ofcourse is important sticking close to tradition yet modernise it at the same time - as for the away and 3rd kit idgaf its not a fashion contest.

While we're talking stats. No team in any of the big competitions across Europe has created more shots on goal than Liverpool this season. We've had 676 goal scoring chances. The next best is Real Madrid, with 623 chances made. We've netted a goal every seven attempts, and Luis Suarez is only behind Cristiano Ronaldo in terms on shots taken. Now if only more of them were on target in big games. Next season could be pretty good. Not me Afro, I don't understand supporters buying every new kit but the clubs need this for the revenue so hope it sells well. Bring on tonight !

I had disposable income for the week so it seemed like an entirely reasonable option. Y'know, instead of buying something I actually need...like food
Tonight's performance was as usual, insipid. A chance to prove a point squandered.

A derby of no heights, at home and with our record v's the toff's yes in theory it should have been a win, but no, draws are our liking as is theirs, 28 combined for the season ! I was heartened by some typical SG perfectly flighted long balls through the 1sthalf but in general what a boring game, Sturridge pissed me off many times squandering shots where he had support running into better space we could have had a goal or 2 before HT. Typical of our form, blow off the toons or who ever one week then back to how can we score the next. The usual so much potential but that doesn't get us over the line every game and thats whats needed. I hope through the summer we gain 3-4 more quality players otherwise its the same ol same ol.

At least Coutinho had flashes of brilliance. Sturridge was incredibly selfish this game. First Merseyside derby, he'll learn in time.
We'll need to get a decent centre back to partner Agger, another goalkeeper, and some solid substitutes and replacements. Another skillful attacking mid in case something happens to Coutinho could be a good idea.

You haven't watched much of Sturridge before his move to Liverpool have you? He really won't learn

-PB Yep - but any team would miss their best eater of the opposition ;) Sturridge doesn't fill the void the same thats for sure and getting the chance with us has injected better life into him but I hope BR kicks his arse to look around and play smarter not selfish every time. Why he hasn't given young Sterling a start up run again/injured ? Countinho will always have flash's of brilliance, he's got it no doubt about it and will be better next season. He was one early 1st half screaming at sturridge for the through ball into the pocket surely he would have slotted it in  Ajohn for sure a Agger partner has to be priority, seems a GK as well by the look of it if confirmed but I imagine many would be upset if Jones was given the chance ? Downing still doesn't covince me. BR needs the cheque book and how IF we are ever going to challenge top 4 ! Edited by M.L.: 6/5/2013 03:07:02 PM

He's said earlier in the season that he intended to stay at Liverpool. I don't see why the club would sell him.

It's only two games. We don't have anything to play for - especially wiht Luis out - so it'll be good to see Suso getting some more action.

It's good that Carra will get to captain his last two Liverpool games as well.

Good thing it's against QPR as well, who simply don't give a shit right now about playing. I want to see Carra coming up for each and every single corner.
