I'm really sorry SG isn't playing the last game at home with Carra, infact more so that SG has had a strong season and his fantasic long balls will be missed putting us in a great attacking position.
The way we played the derby was very disappointing imo and even qpr scares me last game the roller coaster form we keep producing.

I think when he was fit and flying earlier in the season he was as good as anyone, and the combination of pace between himself and Sturridge was dangerous.

Damn Sturridge hat trick - I had my doubts about him at first and had bitched of his lack of judgement not giving the ball instead of pulling the trigger wherever he sure is coming on.

Sturridge is really starting to click with our offence but let's not jinx it.

All I said at the start of the season was that we needed to aim a liiiiiiiiiiittle higher than Assaidi and spend that little bit more. We make the move for Coutinho and look what it's done for us.

I'll be honest, I remain quietly optimistic about next season. I'm not expecting much, but with a lot of the top teams changing managers, Rooney likely leaving Scumchester United, and the mere prescence of Coutinho....

But let's not get carried away.

Came in here to post how sexy the football you play is at times these days under Rodgers. Sturridge has been a great signing, but still needs to cut his apparent selfishness out of his game.

I don't have a problem with his selfishness, every good striker needs to be. I just wish he had more common sense.

I wouldn't say that. Sometimes it's better to have that guy who wants to pull the trigger than have the team passing the ball around the box because nobody's game to take the chance. I think he just needs a little more time to build chemistry with his teammates and develop a little more awareness of them.

Gonna mis you Carra. Your best years are behind you but your experience will be missed. All the best to you.
