I have no doubt about what your saying. But my source tells me that it will be January as sad as it makes me. I want him now. Do you know something I don't? Im in touch with someone that knows him personally and speaks to him regularly.

Delaying a transfer until January doesn't make a lot of sense normally. Although what it would do is give him a chance to get back to match fitness without the pressure of being the "new guy" at Liverpool and having as much weight of expectation on his performances. It's not like we're in Europe and have to worry about him being cup-tied either.

But he'd get better medical treatment at Liverpool and get to mesh with the squad instead of being chucked in the deep end and expected to perform in January.

I guess it's a 50/50 call for us and he's made the choice that's more comfortable for him and waited.

I was under the understanding that Lovren was the back-up plan for Papa if he failed the physical. He'll bring a lot to Southampton. And for 10m that's a great deal.
