where did you get these stats. looks good on its own but you need to compare it with other players

Ok so lets compare Frimpong and Lucas. Now it's a bit unfair to compare two players over the whole 90 minutes when one played 70 minutes while the other played a full game. So we'll just compare the players in the time they were on the pitch together.

In that 70 minutes Frimpong made 37 passes with 82% pass accuracy. In that same time Lucas made 26 passes with just over 81% passing accuracy.

Frimpong attempted 6 tackles and won 5 of them at a success rate of 83%. In that same time Lucas attempted 13 tackles but only won 7, at a success rate of 54%.

Frimpong made 4 interceptions in the 70 minutes, Lucas made 3.

Typical, giving us Lucas's stats how bout you give us Frimpong's as well, I don't think he gave the ball away once.

Hopefully we get some good coin.

Wasn't a great performance in my eyes. Charlie Adam gave the ball away numerous times and whats wtih the shots from half way. Struggled to play out against a pretty inexperienced arsenal team. Happy with the win tho.

Yes I agree - imno - I saw a different game - was nothing to boast about, thankfully arse were disjointed and our defense was solid and composed at times but we were no where near the play during last weeks first half that was very impressive and probably the bar we must get too consistantly and soon.
Great for our building and glad to have this high profile game now that our opposition is under pressure more within their own circumstances. Nothing like banking the points with a fair display.

You sound like you're being victimised. You're obviously not, as a whole, but when Fergie makes it sound like everyone's trying to attack you and the refs are all biased against you when referees are clearly shit in most matched, and the FA is out to get you, then it's natural that kind of horseshit is going to feed down.

But you, and other teams, have certain players you think the sun shines out of their arses when they're plainly awful, egotistic, antagonistic dickheads. And managers needs to censure those players, and if the managers refuse to instil discipline, then the FA will do it.

You just happened to pick the second biggest dickhead in United's history to use as an example, that's all. It's like what you said with Carroll and Crouch up there - you do it, you get a reputation, and your card is marked. And Neville's card is well and truly marked.

Nah I am good I was just asking what the finger was about in last nights game and made a comparison to an incident a year or two ago before you had your little rant about your mate, think we got a little sidetracked:d

It is funny though how United are the only people who do wrong.

Yeah, and Ron Atkinson isn't a racist. He has lots of black friends. He just happened to call Desailly a "lazy nigger" live on TV, but he didn't mean anything by it.

It's not one incident, you know. There was one thing he said, but the chode has a long history of this stuff. And he doesn't stop.

But you just carry on.

Ok, obviously didn't see my point.

On the note about Gary Neville hating you, a lot of people don't realize that a lot of his mates are from Liverpool.

His comment about scousers was meant to get under the skin of Liverpool fans.

Come on, I just explicitly recognised that there's a massive disparity in my views when it comes to Gary Neville, but I don't care because it's Gary Neville, and he's said that he hates Scousers, and he has a huge history of acting like a massive mingebag.

That's the smartest thing you could probably hear: I'm a scouser and he said that he hates me based on where I'm from, so as far as I'm concerned he can disappear up his own, massive, weeping vagina. Why the fuck would I give him an easy ride or excuse anything that chunt does? If you want my honest opinion, the FA should give Gary Neville the medeival saw for the crime of breathing to maintain Gary Neville's existence.

It is one of the cons of being that type of player. The ref knows the strength's therefore looks for faults in it. Just look at Crouch also.

Is what Andy Carrol did to Laurent Koscielny when he held him off with his forearm before chesting it down to Downing a foul. Just woundering as it has been given in the last to games wit the one against sunderland costing us a goal (this one also may have been a goal with Downings shot going in but Schenzy not really worrying about it). I feel that neither were fouls but the ref just sees Carrol as being so large that they give it.

Well, Neville has a history - he'd already been warned about goading the crowd in the previous fixture - and he'd given the media a mouthful about Tevez's value before then. There's flicking a finger in the heat of the moment, and then there's being Gary Neville, Gary Neville, ugly twat, ugly twat.

Can't say I'm sorry, and I don't give a crap if there is a disparity. Antagonistic prick deserves everything he gets, even if he didn't do it. :)

Probably not, as long as you're not doing it to anyone except a player. Refs, crowds, management, nah. Players are fair game.

He's giving Lucas the finger. Fairly clear.

Are you going to say something like that every time? Just need to know.

He wasn't giving the finger. He had an itch and he was scratching it in a very protracted way.

Oh, and I didn't see that in the first viewing, but it was to Lucas, who'd been given the finger by Frimpong when he got sent off.

Great win from the lads today. Were some good periods of play throughout the game, we never looked too threatened, and then Raul and Suarez changed the game. They play fantastically well together - it's just a shame I can't see where Meireles would fit in my XI atm!

Ratings:

Pepe: 7.5 - Solid game. Made a few crucial saves and distribution was excellent as always
Kelly: 8 - Fantastic. Was up and down the right flank with aplomb. Defensive rock and supported the attack well. Quality.
Carra: 7 - Did what he had to do, nothing special.
Dagger: 7 - As above, with some good maruading runs forward
Enrique: 8.5 - Just like Kelly, but even better. Absolute class, kept Walcott quiet all night and made a few terrific runs.
Lucas: 8 - Just a boss. Tackled brilliantly and let very little go past him. Classy as always
Adam: 7 - Not bad, his set piece delivery was suspect but he still played pretty well.
Henderson: 7 - Covered every blade of grass, helped out Kelly and was tidy in possession. I like the lad.
Kuyt: 6.5 - Not a bad game, but touch was poor and didn't really get into the game.
Downing: 8 - Another boss. Fantastic first half but faded a bit in the second.
Carroll: 7 - Almost grabbed a goal, worked hard all day and hold up play was good. Not his best but still good.

Subs:
Meireles: 7.5 - Was vital in both goals. Movement up front and interplay with Suarez was fantastic.
Suarez: 8 - Grabbed a goal, involved in the other, looked threatening the whole time he was on.

MOTM: Enrique, followed by Lucas, Kelly, Downing and Suarez.

Very happy!

Going back to my earlier comment about the XI - Suarez will come in for Kuyt probably - but maybe for Henderson. For Meireles to fit in you'd have to drop them both and I dunno if Kenny will. But ultimately, at home I think I'd like to see:

Carroll
Downing - Suarez - Meireles
Adam - Lucas
Enrique - Dagger - Carra - Johnson
Reina

But of course, Kuyt and Henderson will also be fighting for that RAM spot
