1-1 draw with Kazan. Record number of attempts at goal for a Europa league game..
Far from a great performance but still some encouraging signs. Emre Can and Sakho looking like indispensable members of the first 11 which is a very welcome development!

Benteke comes on great header from a Milner cross in front of Kop. Shame we let them equalise. I haven't seen all the game as yet but we good artists as mentioned

Brilliant header from Benteke
Fucking Milner though. The foul he gave away for the FK which led to the goal was SO unnecessary. He's never getting the ball. So stupid.
Poorly defended though.
Our Form:
1-1 v Bordeaux 1-1 v Norwich 1-1 v Carlisle 3-2 v Villa 1-1 v Sion 1-1 v Everton 0-0 v Spurs 1-1 v Kazan 1-1 Southampton

Bread and butter goal for him Hum, still a brilliant take, perfectly slotted into that top right corner. Watched the 2nd half last night - we were lucky as, the Beast Skrtel is improving and saving our arse more so. Can, has a good tank in his belly, just needs to learn to release the ball earlier when going for his runs against play. We could have should have, stats say it all. Missing Hendo heaps fellas. Chelski next - this is going to be interesting considering their run and our lack of scoring  No matter how old he was missing SG's vision.

Origi, Firmino, or one of the kids to start up front.

\:d/ for you Mr Klopp and the squad. Klopp is quoting that Benteke likely to be fit for Saturday ???? we shall see. On Sturridge “With Daniel, we have to talk about him when he can train and then he will need, I don’t know, two, three, four, five, six or seven days training. That is normal. Kolo hammy tear during 1st half. Klopp giving the boys their first senior start - good resting a few at the same time. Cameron Brannagan, Connor Randall and Joao Carlos Teixeira. He's sure loving Firmino. I like what he says here “We saw these young guys together with these experienced guys, Dejan Lovren, Kolo [Toure] – it was a shame he had to go out so early. But for Dejan it was very important, 90 very intensive minutes in this game.” Maybe, maybe Lovren may end up performing better due to Klopp in time. imno - I reckon we'll do it tuff all season not just by the draws. Hopefully soon we get a break from injuries and all available for a few weeks - were due

\:d/ A great night staying up watching the boys and Klopp. After the ease we let in their early goal i thought FM ! Willan was killing us but we sure made sure to let him know not today ! Theu wanted to sit back whilst we kept pressing - our movement and one touchs at times was great - just not finishing off - till our little champion ! What class he is - beautiful when he's on - Great result - we are starting to get flow - loving Klopp on the sideline and interviews :)

Note to BR: THAT is "good character"! One swallow does not make a summer, but that was the most spirited performance I have seen from a Liverpool side in a long time. Under BR, you just know they would have drawn at best after Ramirez scored. They made a real statement in going all out for the win. Hopefully this is the catalyst for an improved run heading into Christmas...

Skrtel/Sakho were both immense. As was Coutinho.
But Bentekesaurus changed the game. Absolute monster of a player.

Man City vs Liverpool, Etihad stadium, 5.30pm Sat 21st November....
Liverpool IN's: Ibe, Milner Man City IN's: Aguero, Silva
Worst game to be missing Sakho I think.... 3-1 to city.but hoping for some positive attacking intent from us, with a good number of chances...

We're currently linked to swooping for Sane from Schalke. He's a highly rated RW, who can play LW and as an attacking mid too. I would say he's a creative dribbler, can score the odd goal too and is still only 19.
I'd like for us to go for him, a goal scoring winger like Reus, and someone like Ruben Neves (potentially a young Alonso, maybe better) for next season for starters.

=d> \:d/ Bloody great effort. The Brazillians tore them. Defense was solid. The attack at times was incredible ! Mignolet top saves. Oh I loved Skrtel's goal ! It should/could have been 7 :d

Big day in the race for the top 4 with Liverpool, United, Leicester and even Chelsea winning. Going to be intense with Us and West Ham also looking strong.

First 13 matches done - 20 points
Away matches done and dusted - Arsenal, Man Utd, Everton, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United
6 points from Champions League football and 8 from Leicester
That is better than I expected. When the fixtures came out I expected Rodgers to be in charge and have something like 3 or 4 losses in those away matches above

Despite our issues start of the season, BR, injuries, new gaffa it certainly not looking too bad as mentioned Liverpool. Sturridge yet to get back into it ! Love to see Hendo back, any updates ? Klopp's persona is rubbing off - you can see the guys really playing for him, heck even Lovren looks keener ! Skrtel really responding as is Mignolet. This season has been expect the unexpected and results all around us have kept us closer - 2 wins from the 4 is very nice prior to Dec.

City have been weirdly bad in big games so far this season. Beat Chelsea 3-0, but couldn't score against United and then two 4-1 losses against you blokes and Sp*rs.

Sturridge looking likely to play next game I've read :) Like I said, Klopp is a breath of fresh air for the young squad, you can see the energy growing each game. The more we get to grasp his style of play the stronger we will be, barring injuries very promising.
