Definately needs to stay for antother season to gain experience i cant see him playing regularly for Twente

Kruse is a good player and playing for Twente will help him out loads. However, i think that the Roar should try and hang on to him for another season and maybe add one year to his contract and then we have the option to sell him afterwards without losses.

If we do lose him, then hopefully Frank can bring in the good recruits, tap into Jansens assets. Its important to have the best recruits if you losing your best players as we dont want to go backwards. I dont think Giraldi and (damn forgot the other guys name) are the best recruits.

However, please dont go Robbie. and whats this talk 442 had with him in march????? i kinda missed it

You think he'd play ? He had about two good games last season and the media fapped themselves senseless over him. Frankly, he just ain't that good. If the Clogs get offered cash for him they should rip an arm off grabbing it. He'll be back in twelve months (or in Eastern Europe warming a bench).

I think it would be a great opportunity for his career to go to Twente, but he should stay at roar for another season at least till his contract ends, to get more experience. I hope Kruse doesn't leave.

this wouldnt hurt him. playing in the dutch league with a team up in the top half. would help him gain some experience.

Kruse is over 18, no such laws apply when they're over 18.

I thought there was some kind of compensation required by FIFA when teams poach youth players?

Everyone wants us to be playing a Dutch style of football at the moment so maybe this would be a good move for Kruse in terms of making the Socceroos

If they can stick some on-sale clauses and maybe some future "games played" clauses let him go. If they can't, you hope he has a good next season and offer him to more clubs.

still hoping for the Roar to tap Jansens assets I see Revz, and I agree. I wouldn't be terribly upset if Kruse left, but only if the Roar recruit well..

Take the cash, Taj Minnaconn and Mitch Nicols will fill the void, Frank uncovered 3 young jems last year nothiong to stop him doing it again.

With the amount of $300k being tossed around as a transfer fee it is an easy buisness decision, take the money and not lose out at the end of next season...

As for going backwards, pfft, do you really think Sarkies & Giraldi are being brought in the be the main recruits in 08/09... We have three import spots available and injection of funds from Reinaldo's exit, possibly Kruse and sponsors.

Frank is off to Brazil, in particular Athletico Minerio soon to scout for replacements. We also have the option of looking at several players on the books of part owner & european player agent Rob Jansen...

Like some other clubs we don't see the need to jump head first into deals without looking at all the available talent out there...

He'd be better off staying for at least another season.
