might have to throw england into that mix. just shows that teams that look good on paper don't always get the job done in big tournaments. how many times have spain, holland and england, etc been tipped by many to win a big tournament but fail miserably. i'm one who would like to see them win.all those great players.. if only they could play well together, they'd be brilliant to watch.

Yeah true, but for some reason, i have this feeling that may just perk up this year, they havnt been too bad of late. If im proved wrong, well then, i know not what to say anymore.

this is classic. That boring defensive league is called exciting......Seriously, Italy have good teams no doubt, but they not going to be any serious threat if they keep playing that slow boring defensive style of play. As to do with the spending, they can spend all they want, but England and Spain is pulling in some cash and dont be surprised to see Italian clubs missing out.

Juve are hogwash, involved in match rigging as are AC, couldnt care less about those clubs. Totally ridiculous, And most italian teams are always involved in violence or some issue, Serie A has more pressing issues than signing players right now. They need to sort out a corrupt FA and corrupt heads before they can think they really are the big stuff.

As for Euro, i hate Italy (not really all the players though), i hope they get beaten, Spain and Holland the two teams who i reckon will be darkhorse.

I think the rest of the footballl world should be very scared.

Next season we will again see 4 strong italian teams in the CL ... Inter, roma, juve and milan ... we will also have a few good teams in the UEFA Cup, such as Fiorentina.

What is even more scary, is the fact that both Milan and Juve are willing to spend big in the summer and buy many good new players ... add that with Inter and Roma, and you will have 4 beats teams.

i also think serie a (which this yr is showing why its the best league in the world) will again, be fantastic to watch.
