It seems a lot of forumites are not aware of Andre Krueger who has posted on the forum.

The guy is a legendary German supporter of the Socceroos and would be a great story for the mag.

How about it guys?

I imagine most of the stories overseas that get in the 442 australia mag are done by 442 uk anyway.

Story may have been done before but 442 could get some excellent mileage out of the fact that krueger is a forumite on here. Like i stated earlier i respect him for his love and passion for the socceroos when the majority in oz still perceived it as a game for sheilas, poofs and wogs as famously quoted by the late johnny warren.

Id even consider him as a moderator on a socceroo forum. That would be gold with his knowledge.

Why does he have to be a mod to be respected? Thats stupid. Having the ability to suspend people and close useless topics just because he has an obsession with another country's football team. WTF. He's hardly a regular anyway, hes got about thirty posts and none for a while. Id love to see more non australians and expats give there honest un-byass opinions though.

Id think kruger would be able to spell his name so the guy on here could be a poser, the guy on here spells it with an e, krueger, yet the man himself spells it, kruger.

.... or seeing as 'Krueger' didnt write the damn article, there is a slight chance that Richie Young misspelled the guy's name... And I think 'Kruger' isn't even the correct German spelling - it may be outside Germany for those who emmigrated. Have to ask our resident Kraut.

Hmm i think he meant ask Krueger himself. At least i hope so, cause im about as sure as this as how to make a Souvlaki and i hope you remember that discussion mk?

Oh, and on the actual thread, i wouldnt be particularly interested in reading about the man i've already heard so much about (no offence meant of course).

They're both correct spellings - Kruger takes an umlaut over the U which can either be spelt with the punctuation or with an extra E.

tbh, I've never seen it spelled with an umlaut, that's really oldschool and nobody really uses that in their name following WWII, most families changed it to Krueger. Essentially it's the same, but he (and his family) would spell it one way and it would remain consistant, rahter than changing between Kruger and Krueger.

Well, I've seen a couple of his posts, and i've got to say, i dont' really think he's interesting to warrant an article and don't really care much about him. (sorry mr Krueger, but I figure you feel likewise about me).
