I don't think there's any need to panic. The pitch is a bowlers paradise. Our bowlers won't be too fussed at getting out, India's openers will be very nervous.

They just ran the cameras over the pitch, the Indian openers will be very very nervous. The cracks on that pitch are getting wider and wider. If Siddle & co. bowl well from the get-go, we could see an already shaky Indian batting line up have a huge collapse here.

My prediction given that India had a shocking first innings, is that like in Sydney, Australia won't need to bat again. We'll bowl em out. What are the betting odds for it?

India now 2/25 Sehwag caught Haddin bowled Siddle for 10. Tendulker in. Indian batting collapse on a breaking up wicket. Who called it? I called it! ;)

I reckon you'll need to bat again but only need about 20-50 runs. Not a single test this summer has gone into the 5th day, doesn't look this one will either.

India are an absolute rabble. Adelaide would have to be Laxman's last test, and Sehwag won't be far behind him.
There is an outside chance that this could be over tonight.

Mitchell Johnson's injury is probably the best thing to happen to Australian cricket in a while.

Another failure for Dhoni. Out for 2. 6/148, India still trail by 60.

Take India out of India, and they fail miserably.

Not a bad start to Clarkes captaincy. Win in Sri Lanka, draw in South Africa, draw against NZ and now a possible 4-0 sweep against current world #2 India.

There's only one Ranking system worse than the FIFA rankings, and it's the ICC Rankings  And I'd argue that losing at home to NZ and only drawing the series against them is a failure, rather than a success.

India do not deserve world number 2 status, they are very very poor overseas.

Never said it was a success, just a good start. 6 wins 2 draws and 2 losses aint a bad start to a captaincy.

The test match rankings should be like this,
1. England 2. South Africa 3. Australia/India 4. India/Australia 5. Sri Lanka 6. Pakistan 7. New Zealand 8. West Indies 9. Bangladesh
England are definitely the best at the moment, but will be extremely interesting when we face up to South Africa the coming home English summer. South Africa are the only team that come close at the moment so if we beat them we can say for sure we're the dominant force in world cricket and tbh, with the players we've got coming through, I think we can stay there for a long time.

MS Dhoni banned from the last test because of slow over rate. Just gets worse and worse for India.
