What a great review. Plum LBW
Oh fuck. That's shit. Just caught his front pad first.

A bees dick in that decision. Umpire could easily have given out. I think the two noises though was the defining factor. Hot Spot showing it clipped the front pad first; hence the two noises.

Right call, thought it was heading down leg with the angle. It looked worse because it looked like it hit the back pad, but it hit the front pad first which straightened it up and made it look far worse. DRS should only overturn the shockers

Soft catch, Pattinson has 3 and England are all out for 215.
Australia might actually be in with a chance for this one.

Carn Watto. Need a solid start from the Aussie openers now. There's still plenty of cricket left, but we can set ourselves up well with a solid finish tonight.

Well in boys, makes a huge difference cleaning up the tail quickly. We didn't bowl that well, definitely not well enough to knock that line up over for 215. England have to blame themselves.
Gotta agree with Vaughn on Bairstow. He has some major technical flaws that he is going to need to fix if he wants to keep playing test cricket

Later swann. Bowled out in the 59th over. All out for 215. Australia will get about 30 overs tonight. I reckon Clarke will be happy for that. Especially given at Lunch England were 2-95. Not the greatest bowling innings Australia will ever play, but given England were extremely sloppy in their batting, plenty of starts, but nothing major to go on with. Trott was the best of the batsman on 48, but overall all the English batted poorly. Australia need to bat really well. It's a bowlers paradise out there, but if you watch the ball well, I think the batsman can really dominate. The ball is doing enough to trouble the batsman. I think Australia will consider it a good days play if they can bat and only lose 1 wicket before the end of play. Going to be interesting to see how Watson bats to be honest.

England have to blame themselves. A LOT of extras and a LOT of loose deliveries dispatched to the boundary, but England didn't bad overly well and Australia's bowling (Aside from Siddle) was pretty mediocre.

To be fair to the bowlers, it's was a good display after lunch. Only a couple of extras (I think only the 4LB off Broad's shoulder?) and much tighter lines.
Wouldn't really call it a bowlers paradise. The pitch is slow, the ball isn't seaming. It's just the swing that will trouble us.

 Deceptive though, he's had a half tracker and a half volley, both easily dispatch-able balls. That leave is a good sign. He needs to keep his head here.

Stuart Broad apparently injured after the knock on the shoulder. Harden up princess!
This is perfect for Watson, bat on ball early on. I have a feeling Finn might've been the bowler that Australia intended to score runs off coming in to the game. This pitch offers him nothing.

As long as the adrenaline doesn't take over and he keeps his eye on the ball and the ball on the carpet like those opening two shots.

Watson looks like he's going to cry walking off. Silly to get caught lashing out at that.
