Anyone know much about The Cool Kids? They were just on Triple J and I liked what i heard... Been awhile since Hip Hop was as appealing as that.

If I'm still in Australia, I'll get myself to the Roundhouse. Not missing Parkway and Suicide Silence...

If anybody is into the whole 'youthgroup' kind of sound, there's a band coming out of sydney who are putting out an album next year that sounds pretty tight. They've got more tallent than most aussie stuff going at the moment but they'll probably get played to death on the radio.

Youth Group are alright, even if Forever Young shits me big time. Will you be giving the bands name up, or is this a wait and see thing?

Aren't those songs your favorite songs all the time?

Quote:Will you be giving the bands name up, or is this a wait and see thing? They aren't sure what name they're going with for the cover of the album as yet. They've only got names for three tracks, but what I've heard, it's pretty good, they've been working on the album for 18 months now. Quote::lol:That was like reading Australias line-up and getting to Holman down the bottom. Bit of a shock. Nah, you've come to expect Holman to be there now](*,) More like getting to the bottom and finding Viduka's name there. Except Black Sabbath have/had skill. I'm Housin' - Rage Against The Machine Du Riechts So Gut - Rammstein Glycerine - Bush.

Karnivool - Themata Birds Of Tokyo - Silhouetic Two awesome local bands. Both deserve to be a lot bigger than they are, and both have one common theme: Ian Kenny, probably the most talented singer in Australia, has a brilliant voice.

Absolutely love their first album, which was the one he did. Can't get into their newer stuff, mainly coz of the singer, he just isn't as good as Leach was.

Their first? You mean Youth and Young manhood? Or are you mistaking their last album as their first?
For me, its pretty much a replica of their other stuff. Maybe their last album was slightly deeper, like "knocked up", rather than "my sex is on fire", but the country feel is still there. It sounds pretty promising to me anyway. The album is being played in full on JJJ tomorrow at 12. I'd listen but school and all...

Depends tbh. My favorite song off "Because Of The Times" was "Arizona" which is slower than most of their other stuff. Its not very rocky at all. But I see your point.
Edit: That just reminded me of that songs greatness and I demand you all listen to it :p

God dammit, I should not like this song. But it's just so fucking catchy. Same goes for that 'I kissed a girl' song.
