Fair enough. I really don't like the fact that its complete money making business though. No actual love for the music there.

KOLs album is great for anyone who is interested.

I could never get into KOL. I tried, but there's just something that puts me off. Hell I've seen em live twice, though they didn't impress me then either.

A lot of people can't get around Calebs voice. I think its an awesome sound tbh, seen them live twice too. Once was impressive, the other not so, but it still got me into them.

I don't mind his voice. I mean, some of the bands I've got, the vocals will make your blood curdle:p. Its more so the music just seems bland to me. Just standard Indie-Rock. Each to their own though.

It's the vox I think...there's an oversuipply of the indie-rock sound atm and the vocals that go with it.

Bull shite. My open minded index on lastfm (not that I expect you to know what that is :P), is at 118. Includes the likes of rap and lots of other stuff... If you saw the previous page of this thread you'd realise I listen to Kings Of Leon, and they are far from metal or hard rock. Lots of acoustic shit too. Clearly Melodic Death Metal and Metalcore wins over all though :twisted:

It's on their Myspace. Doesn't sound too bad. A bit Try-hard Screamo in places, but still, not the worst song I've heard.

Listening to it again, the start of the song is very off-putting, however, once it gets into the meat of it, starts to sound like a classic Spineshank track. Alot better than when I first heard it.

For anyone who likes acoustic music, just something easy to listen to, i recommend a guy called Justin Nozuka. Outstanding voice.

Found it! I'm not very myspace savvy, and they seem to have numerous sites... It's not bad, but it doesn't come close to Synthetic or the like. It is promising in a way though, there's potential there for a pretty good album. Keeping in mind it is only a demo.

Done and Done.

Synthetic is a good song. I'd love to see a new album. The thing to remember with demos too is that they're knocked up in about 10mins.
