The Doctor wrote:i want your opinion on something lads... i found these guys in december, and i think there fucking brilliant, this was one of there covers, they've got a bunch online and stuff but i thought i'd put this one up (and i absolute hate MJ and all his stuff, but i think this is great, so shows i'm not showing bias) Pomplamoose Channel of the Band http://www.youtube.com/user/PomplamooseMusicChannel of the Chick from the Band who does some solo stuff http://www.youtube.com/user/natalydawn?blend=2&ob=1thoughts? Such a nice sounding cover, completely different spectrum to Fallout Boy's cover.

For some reason I'm really into Four Year Strong's old demo with a bad, yet awesome, first version of Beatdown In The Key Of Happy and Your Song.

I reckon they'll get a decent set, they're Direct support, and MH seem like a band who'd treat their supports good. 45 Minutes to an Hour I reckon. Really hope that doesn't sell out before I can get tickets.

Haha, it has been released. Well not released because you can't buy it, but you can illegally download it. It's got tracks like
Find my Way Back, Flannel is the Color of My Energy and This Body Pays the Bill$
.

I missed their Declaration tour so I'm really hoping for a longer set so they play a big chunk of that as well as the obvious ones like Love Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire (which will be fucking nuts) and On Wings Of Lead. I reckon they should because the last tour Machine Head did Arch Enemy and Trivium got big sets, but they are somewhat bigger bands.

Well Trivium got a long set because they were Co-Headliners, not support. I reckon it'll end up: MH: 90-120 BT: 50-60 HB: 40-45 E: 30-40
That would be an awesome show.

Would be ecstatic with that tbh. Probably the tour of the year anyway.

WTF...She actually had potential as a musician. She wrote a catchy song, that wasn't the usual pop crap, and now she does that? Epic Fail.
Mute FTW:p

I'd like to go, but don't know if I'd be willing to part with $200 to see them. If they toured as part of the big 4 they could ask for as much as they want.

I don't think they'll charge 200. 100-120 for GenA methinks.

I don't think they'll come. :P
I'm actually not a massive fan of the arena gigs anyway. Much better in a 2-5000 venue IMO. Big moshes, but you can actually see the band.

Listening to Television's adventure. Not quite Marquee Moon but still pretty fucking brilliant. Even if it is older than I am (just)

TBH, I'd prefer they don't come. Makes my choice easier. And yeah, definitely agree. Although it depends on the band. Some bands you wouldn't want to see in a place any bigger than about 400-500.

Really thought the last Muse album was way off their best.

Still some great tracks on it though. As a whole album it was under-par, but there was some individual brilliance on it.

Was some okay stuff, but it didn't come close to Stockholm Syndrome, Time Is Running Out, Hysteria or Plug In Baby. IMO anyway.

True, but I think that's because they're different kinds of songs. They weren't written with hooks or being catchy in mind.
