The problem imo is the weaker songs from the album have become the popular songs.

Funky Munky wrote:True, but I think that's because they're different kinds of songs. They weren't written with hooks or being catchy in mind. it's not good when your getting played on 2dayfm is it... the album was okayish but nothing on there previous works, i don't think i'd be out of line to suggest that Absolution and The Origins of Symmetry are to be there best albums... with 'New Born' and 'Bliss' opening i don't think i've heard a better two song opening to an album... also tell me if i'm out of line but is it just me or should 'Map of the Problematique' be the 2nd Champions League anthem i always put it on when i've got a big champions league game on FM or Fifa... that's normal right 8-[ and it has to be 2nd album because nothing beats http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK5E1Iewy7w at 430 in the morning when your playing Chelsea at Anfield in the 2nd leg of a Champions League semi-final sitting in a darkened lounge room with a blanket around you wearing your jersey and your scarf and eating spaghetti straight from the tin for breakfast because you don't wanna step away from the game ;)

Curious what music benjamin likes to see how it matches his football opinions.

Remember the first time i listen to tripple J in 1990 and the first song I heard was The History Of Western Civilisation.Didnt realise at the time that it was from Melbourne so I thought they were talking about the western suburbs of Sydney. Now I feel really old. (although still just as foolish)

I thought thats great because my last girl friend had terrible music taste. Then I find out that my wife doesnt have the identical best taste that I do. I still have the best taste. Some of the stuff she likes is absolute rubbish. Go figure.

After being intrigued by Rolo Tomassi at Soundwave, I've been listening to their Hysterics album. They're pretty awesome, and completely different.

He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

not the best... but the coolest song of the previous decade... it's cooler because you don't know it... and if you do know it you already know your level of coolness by doing so ;)
