I know keep posting about them, but got to see Yellowcard last night. Fuck they're great live. Probably could have done with a better venue and a bigger stage, but they were fantastic. The acoustic set turned out to be fantastic, thought it would just be them on acoustic guitars, but the whole band joined in and made it the heaviest acoustic set I've ever seen  The electric set was pretty good as well. Ryan Key is just perfect, great live singer even though he didn't really need to be there, he did well to make himself heard above the audience singing back at him.
Really upset its over though, already miss them and hope they can come back ASAP. They're a possiblity for SW apparently, so who knows. Glad to have met them at least and very thankful for seeing them.

God damn. Holy shit. Last 2 minutes were awesome! First 5 were not what I'd call music.

The most surprising song of the album is him apologising to his mum on "Headlights", it features that guy from fun. Love the song featuring Skylar Grey. http://globalgrind.com/2013/10/31/eminem-skylar-grey-asshole-new-music/She's pretty quiche. Edited by iridium1010: 1/11/2013 04:29:20 PM

Reflektor is great. Different, fresh sound, love the first few songs
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

For some strange reason, I've suddenly started liking All Time Low. I used to absolutely hate them back in the day.

Soundwave second announcement at 11 PM EST tomorrow. 35+ bands to be announced apparently.
With Enter shikari ruled out, really really hoping Jimmy Eat World get announced, have been digging them recently. Would like them plus another couple of smaller bands on the bill, and that'd do me just fine.

Plus within the next announcement there has to be another 3-6 worth the price of admission. I've already got my Ticket, going to be a ball!

Yes, because I'm obviously going to pay for a Soundwave ticket to see the bands which YOU like  well, specifically, you should! I have great taste! but the list has plenty of those melodic post something metal core pre teen screamers that ya'll be posting about, as well as some solid quality metal, punk and grunge bands. With the next lot of releases we should see a rounded out half decent amount of hardcore bands as well. One can only hope Sick of it all come again!
