Alfred Galustian is of course the international director of Coerver coaching and is on board because the FFA signed an agreement with Coerver. Why is the name Coerver not mentioned in the article?

What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Meet The Australian Wengers?
How the FFA are using Arsene’s sidekick to create a new crop of elite Australian youth coaches.

Have your say.

Hi Noel,

Yes Alfred is International Director of Coerver but I'm not aware of any agreement between FFA and Coerver. Football NSW used to have one but that is also no longer in place.

The FFA employ Alfred as an independent consultant...at least that's how it was explained to us...hence there was no connection between Coerver and this piece of editorial....as the (now appointed) Skill Acquisition Coaches were not being taught Coerver, rather a bespoke program in line with the FFA NFDP.

No disputing the value of Coerver - it just wasn't relevant to this small story.

Incidentally we are using Alfred, in his Coerver capacity as a regular contributor to the performance section in the magazine.

Cheers
Andy
