I Play Green Gully. Good coaches both in A's and B's. Green Gully and Bulleen Lions most successful Junior clubs in FFV State Finals, Bulleen and Gully with 3 each in the Junior boys, but at gully we got good match day turf, our training pitches are shocking, but there getting fixed next year.
Your from Oakleigh and I don't know your area, besides trailing with Doncaster Rovers Reserves for the start of our early pre-seaon.

So do you think that SMFC's player development program is better than the NTC's? Im sure the players feel like they have been kidnapped/stolen away from SMFC.

Im sure the players feel like they have been kidnapped/stolen away from SMFC.[ NTC-13s/2nd-14s/4th they dont field many teams, while south are: 12s/2nd- 13s/5th- 14s/2nd- 15s/2nd- 16s/3rd. there you go, not that im saying south are better but they field more teams and do better in most of the leagues vs NTC. Box hill u/14s in my league own the state: beat south 5-1 beat green gully 3-1 and beat bullen both times 2-0, while oakleigh is a large club with lots of juniors our youth teams arnt that strong in the leagues.:)

also while i was browsing the FFV website, i looked at the VPL table and almost every team has a blue number which means a deduction of points for some reason, the VPL is  corrupt! click on the number and read some of the reasons are quite funny.:)

I don't think its fair to lie about the 3-1 result because last time i checked I saw that Bulleen won that u14's region, and that Box Hill finished 2nd, and i also saw that Bulleen bet Box Hill 3-1 and drew 1-1, and Green Gully never played you this season, if they did, they would of owned you, if you didnt notice, Green Gully lost to the River Plate academy 4-4 in the final on penalties. Sorry, go lie elsewere mate.

Bet they're not charging the kids $700 on some self-procliamed "we've got the best coaches" advert. You guys are the same as you were in the NSL, trying to get everyone to pay top dollar for sh.t. South hasn't evolved, it's just found a new way to try and rip people off.

It's scandelous. Kids, don't pay money to go to SMFC - take up any of the many free schemes offered by... The FFV - oops, none The FFA - oops, none again Victoria's finest A-League franchise, Melbourne Victory - oops, no interest in youths there Melbourne's 'grass roots' franchise, Melbourne Heart - damn, another non-youth interested set up... Oh, if only there were options outside this cruel and corrupt system of "offering a service for a fee in a free market".

Oh, if only there were options outside this cruel and corrupt system of "offering a service for a fee in a free market". Putting the responsibility back on the parents of these kids is a joke. The fact that South think it hasa god-given right to charge $700 for a kids tuition (along with associated costs for petrol, snacks for the kids on training and game days as their parents drive them around and so on and keep them occupied) is a joke. All power to South if they rpoduce the next Harry Kewell but most Victorian born and raised regular Socceroos over the last 10-15 years have NOT come from South's junior system, so a lot has to be said about that. Produce a Socceroo or two from the junor system and then we'l talk. Until then, South's system is unproven at an elite scale.
