Ljubo's first 3-4 games were excellent, showed his class and on field presence. But as expected his behaviour and demeanour began to deteriorate to the extent that he was becoming a liability to the team and to morale. The guy can play but unfortunately is a moron. Oh well, it was a laugh and it brightened up the league a bit.

Surely Krncevic has to go now. He has no idea how to manage a team.

South melbourne Junior signs for Birmingham City Quote:Peter Skapetis: Soccer dream realised13 Jun, 2011 12:00 AM GLEN Waverley soccer player Peter Skapetis has signed a dream deal with English Championship club Birmingham City. The 16 year old has taken up a two-year apprentice contract with the Blues, who were relegated from the English Premier League last month. The apprenticeship will involve Skapetis training and playing with the Blues youth team while also going to school and working around the club in less glamorous roles such as sweeping the change rooms, washing the club uniforms and setting up uniforms for the senior team players. But the Rowville Sports Academy student has no issue with some housework considering he will get the chance to work towards his dream of playing in the EPL. "I have worked towards this for a long time and looked forward to the chance to move there," he said. "All this happened through being at the school. "My coach Stuart Munro set it all up. Without the school I would not have got there." The teenage striker earned his deal after undergoing a four-week trial with the Blues in April. He trained with the youth team, toured the club and got to see some EPL games. He leaves for his new life in Birmingham - which he said reminded him of Melbourne - in early July. "I will miss my family but it will be the same for other boys in the team who move to Birmingham. "We will all be going through the same things." "I hope to be pushing for the first team or the reserve side within 12 months." While Blues fans were shattered to watch their side fall out of the lucrative EPL, Skapetis said relegation wouldn't effect who the youth team played against. "The youth side still plays against the other big clubs," he said.

Gonna say it again about ibrahim, he's shit, will be give from heart end of the season. both smfc and heart staff were unimpressed by his attitude in the vpl, thats why south let him go. He's on his last warning at heart as well. He's a hog, plays gor him self, doesnt go in and can't keep himself onside. considering hes an a league player with big raps on him he was one of the biggest jokes ive seen. Played one good game against springvale, that was it.

Edited by slade33: 16/6/2011 02:14:54 AM Japanese kids? I thought you guys were playing a Singapore club. If that is right and SMFC were playing against Japanese players then these Japanese boys must be rejects from the Japanese league which I must say does not reflect well on SMFC. Our preparation for Singapore was well off the mark this year in comparision to last year when we got there early and put in good preparation, this year we had to play a midweek cup game here so we flew out late and a lot of our squad unavailable, we actually went over with 1 keeper only, so a bit of a disaster this time around...surprised we were still in it with 10 minutes to play.
Back to vpl action crucial 1-0 win over Oakleigh yesterday, the returning Carl Recchia with the winner...currently well placed in 3rd spot just 2 points from top spot.

Key figure at the club, who shall remain nameless (for now), didn't diary the end of Kliment Taseski's loan spell - and as a result he was fielded whilst ineligible on Saturday against Richmond.
FFV have (rightly) deducted 3 points from us, knocking us out of the finals positions. With our remaining fixtures there's a good chance we won't make the finals now.
Someone needs a bit of a slap.

I'm pretty sure all the supporters know who it was and he can fuck off with Eddie and Joe at seasons end. He's made fuck up these past two season which have been crucial. Pack your bags and get out.

South has just received its 3 points back.

FFV a complete shambles:lol:

Quote:Football Federation Victoria News South Melbourne FC Player Registration Acknowledgement Football federation Victoria (FFV) have announced that following acknowledgement from South Melbourne FC (SMFC) that they did not provide full details regarding the player registration details of Kliment Taseski, that SMFC have had their three point deduction cancelled. According to FFV records on Monday 4 July Kliment Taseski’s (the player) loan from Melbourne Heart FC had expired. FFV regulations provide that on expiry of the loan agreement the Player’s registration reverts back to the loan club. FFV wrote to SMFC on Tuesday 5 July and advised that they were taking the Player off the Player Roster. SMFC played Kliment Taseski on Saturday 9 July and subsequently FFV considered that SMFC had played an ineligible player. As a result and in accordance with FFV regulations three points were deducted earlier this week. SMFC advised FFV on Wednesday 13 July that the loan had been extended for one week on or before Monday 4 July. This was verified today Friday 15 July by Melbourne Heart FC. Based on this new information FFV has ruled that the player was in fact eligible and have restored the points and quashed the fine. SMFC could have avoided this misunderstanding by providing FFV full details of the loan extension with the Player prior to the Saturday 9 July match. FFA rush to make a decision, etc., without getting the facts... Then complain that it was the club that was at fault... Classic.

exactly
perfect example of the ffv not knowing its own rule book
Advocacy before enquiry - perfect example of execution before a trial
smfc better tread carefully - FFV looking at any excuse now
