strange performances from the broncos. The defensive line moves up unevenly and at a snails pace. Opposition teams are running into a flat footed defence with no momentum so forwards usually make it past the advantage line, halves can time their passes more easily and have more time to think. How can Wayne Bennett allow such obvious problems with his team
in attack they are very side to side as well. They have been poor at getting repeat sets or using the inside pass

The amount of times in the first half alone the entire team was bunched up and not running off the dummy half was incredible.

Origin destroyed all our momentum (happens most seasons), plus we've had a tough draw through that period as well.

Constant injuries/suspensions to our forwards and outside backs has also really hurt.

Milford going from the best player in the comp to being invisible has killed us as well. (surprising very little has been said about this in the media) All the hate seems to be directed at Hunt, despite him still setting up and scoring tries. :(

It's not a lack of momentum, their brains are shot. Their heads are not in the game.

Defenders just falling off the ball carrier,
how many tries have been conceded through 5 meter gaps in defense on the line, guys just not paying attention.
Countless dropped balls without any pressure, player not paying attention.
To many players literally just standing around doing nothing.

Hunt's short drop out attempt 3? Weeks ago summed it up really. The actions of a team that have completely lost the plot.

I said origin destroyed all of our momentum and it clearly has, we were in the top 2 prior to origin having lost only to a couple of teams to now only winning twice in about 8 weeks over the origin period. I'm not denying their brains aren't shot but its really all started from origin beginning.

Anyway it's really nothing new happens to us most years, still plenty of weeks to go we just need to finish the last few strongly like 06 or else we'll be gone straight away.

I don't think this is the normal origin slump, sure we've lost games during these weeks in previous seasons, but not in the manner we have seen this year.

We are 2 points ahead of 10th place having played 1more game then other teams

The dragons game next week almost is a must win game, when we still have Bulldogs, roosters, storm to play in coming weeks.

I am actually not surprised about this, our early season losses to Sharks, Panthers and Cowboys showed severe mental frailty. This is the snowball effect.

Yea I don't agree with that:

2002: Got through Origin ok but ran out of gas and lost 4 of our last 5 games.
2003: From the Origin period we lost 10 of our last 13 games.
2005: Got through Origin ok but ran out of gas and lost 6 of our last 7 games.
2006: From R14 to R23 we lost 7 of 9 games during that period.
2007: Similar to 02 & 05 - got through Origin ok but lost 5 of our last 7 games.
2008: Won 2 of 5 games during the origin period.
2009: Lost 7 of 8 games during the origin period.
2010 - 2014: Are all about the same.

It's really nothing new almost every season we either struggle massively during the origin period and try and regroup for the run home or we go ok during the origin period and our season hits the wall on the run home.

I'd say for probably the last 15 years only twice this hasn't happened in 2011 where we got through origin ok and finished the season very strong and last season where we were perfect over the orign period.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

But I'm worried

Tyson Frizell's suspension could be the worst decision in the history of the game. Add in that Reynolds didn't get suspended for tripping in the same game and it's not hard to see why people are giving up on the game.

Yeah I don't really understand how Grub got away with no suspension for the trip :lol:

be that as it may they are out of form. They improved their discipline since last week. But the defensive work on the right hand side is very poor - probably because glenn is out of position but still. Their line often moves up very slowly in defense which gifts opposition forwards an advantage as well as gifting opposition playmakers time to think. They are also very side to side in defense. No inside balls and no clean repeat sets of six

The Titans have plenty of cap space and when you consider it was going to be either Zilman or Hoggman at fullback for them next season, Hayne is a huge upgrade. 

Credit to the Titans they've made some very smart signings over the last couple of months; Peats, Hurrell and now Hayne.
