I'll have my whinge about the many stupid decisions in that match.

Jennings is an idiot and deserved the sin bin but so was most of the other players on the field. The only one that I saw not trying to hit someone was Hayne, he was trying to grab fists to stop people hitting each other. Saying someone is throwing a punch to defend themselves is stupid if you policed it correctly with the right rules they wouldn't feel the need to "punch in self defence".

I'm pretty sure Sam Thaiday missed the ball completely when he "grounded" it for the disallowed Stewart try.

How the hell was Inglis awarded that try? If that was 10m out from the line it would have been a knock on.

NSW had control of that match until Civoniceva start lying in the tackles and holding the ball so NSW couldn't play the ball quickly. I don't know how he gets away with blatantly slowing the play down as much as he does. Other players get penalised for doing not even half of what he does.

Have to agree with the Jennings one. As stupid as he was, if you're going to send him for 10 why not send almost every player for 10. Can't just single out one player when there was more than one running in.

The Thaiday one is interesting, they take two looks at that incident and made the decision, when both replays didn't conclusively show that he actually put downward pressure on the ball, yet were happy to give Inglis a try for knocking the ball on.

I can handle losing fairly to QLD, because they are a fucking great team, but I can't handle losing like that. I can't handle being robbed of any chance at getting anything out of the game, and if I was Sticky or Gallen I would be going fucking nuts in the post match press conference.

I wouldn't send someone off for being third man in. But Jennings ran 40+m to king hit someone so he derserves it.

On the Inglis situation at first glace it looked like a knock on. But essentially Farah kicked the ball out of his hands and greg was the fisrt person too dive on it.

You're fucking kidding right? First of all Farah didn't play at the ball, and even if he did it doesn't matter because after he knocks it out of Inglis' hand GI knocks it on off his forearm. It was clear as day, and they only had to look at 20 fucking replays.

my 2 cents. state of origin is a pointless exercise just to make the QLDers feel good about themselves for living a shitty fly infested state.

 He was propping his leg because he had to change direction, it's a simple concept really.

Like I said whether or not Farah played the ball is irrelevant because Inglis knocked it on after Farah kicked the ball.

Since when has not having good ball security been rewarded. Inglis got rewarded instead of punished for putting the ball on someone's foot instead of putting it on the ground.

The game hadn't been won at that time they were only 2 points ahead with enough time for NSW to win. That decision killed any chance of NSW winning and so was hence a game winning decision.

Sounds like a pretty big 'if'. I mean, it's not like QLD came from behind to win. They were in control the whole game.

+1.

Jennings would have been had he not had the brain fart to come in and swing haymakers.

I reckon Tate deserved it imo, man was a workhorse tonight, easily deserved his spot in the squad.

Benefit of the doubt try is my view. So it doesn't matter if Farah plays at the ball but when it ricochets into Inglis it matters.

I also forgot to mention Hayne is an absilute grub.

You seem to be following a different definition of the phrase.
In football if a team is leading 1-0 in a very tight match scores in the 91st minute to put the game out of reach of the opposition, I see that is the match winning goal because it puts the result beyond doubt. The same principal applies to here.

You gotta be trolling right? I mean this shit can't be serious. If course it fucking matters. You can't knock it on with your feet can you.

Farah knocks the ball out of Inglis' hands, whether it was intentional or not doesn't matter, Inglis then goes for the ball again playing at it with his forearm knocking it on. In reality it's a no try and scrum at the 10m, but not in Origin when it's for Queensland.

Seriously, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was Barry fucking Gomersall in the box.

Sorry worded that wrong mate.

Farah comes along kicks the ball, if it touches Inglis again he didn't play at the ball. Then as he was positined side on, it can then be argued the ball did not go forward. Then you could argue what Farah did was unsafe and perhaps it could of been a pen try. As the rule says benefit of the doubt try surely there is some doubt.

How can you say Inglis did not have play at the ball after it was dislodged? When something is dislodged from your hands the natural reaction is to try and regain control of it.

Benefit of the doubt try is my view. So it doesn't matter if Farah plays at the ball but when it ricochets into Inglis it matters.

I also forgot to mention Hayne is an absilute grub.

You gotta be trolling right? I mean this shit can't be serious. If course it fucking matters. You can't knock it on with your feet can you.

Farah knocks the ball out of Inglis' hands, whether it was intentional or not doesn't matter,Inglis then goes for the ball again playing at it with his forearm knocking it on.

This. After the ball is dislodged Inglis makes a play at it to try and regather and knocks it off his forearm. I mean it was shown pretty clearly in the 20 replays we saw.

When even Wally Lewis is saying it shouldn't be a try you know something is up.
