This was in regards to media double-standards. *insert sooking emoticon* Watch them be RBB members. Which begs the question, why does a supporter group who hates the East, have fans who support Souths? Must be turncoat 'FC supporters. And you know it! ;)

Sucks being a Tigers supporter right about now. I never had high hopes for this season, but this is ridiculous. Mind you, if you look at our casualty ward, it's pretty fucking long.

Raiders put on 44 unanswered points to come from 0-14 down against Newcastle, to thrash 'em 44-14. Oh dear. Nice comeback by the Dogs in Wellington, too. The Eels vs Broncoes game was a fantastic tight affair.

Far out take this petty childish behaviour back into AF FFS... Dragons spewing 1point ball game to the titans  Whats happened Mr Bennett  I wouldn't have expected that from the raiders though =d> Doggies may get their tails wagging after that away win. Chocolate soldiers giving the Storm a wake up call I suppose. I'm not a eels supporter one bit, infact I enjoy them suffering for so long but any team doing those cocky bronks gets a "good on youse" ! Damn Ingliss on the run like that from pick up off ground in his half who's ever going to stop him  OK - I'm not confident us eagles doing the chooks tonight but it sure will be a goodie to watch !

Tonight should be one of the games of the season. Two tough teams built on defence, good old fashioned footy hopefully.

Another ol school tuff game by the eagles, good luck to the chooks first win at brooky for as long as I can remember. Who'd had thought that scoring would be our problem where we once used to rack up points most raids now we are having trouble breaking through. Oh well another big one coming up v's our foes storm !

So apparently a high tackle you see multiple times a season is worth a send off, but spear tackling guy twice in a match isn't  NRL refs logic

I actually have no problem with that being a send off offence, even as a Roosters fan, but it's a joke if someone thinks that is the worst offence committed on the field this year. I am all for encouraging referees to punish players during the game they commit the offence, and I think if the judiciary showed a bit of leniency on players who are sent off it would help that.

Yeah he's only facing 5-7 weeks because he was sent off so it's interpreted as a worse tackle than if he was just placed on report which is a joke. I also think referee's need to seriously start using the sin-bin properly and not just for professional fouls. The Fa'aoso incident with Inglis is the perfect example and Sam Burgess I think it was made a very good point to the referee saying that what advantage do they get out of just getting a penalty. Sure he'll get a lengthy suspension, but that doesn't help Souths. I mean if 2 spear tackles in the same match isn't a send off or a sin-bin offence then I don't know what is. All it does is once again highlight the outrageous inconsistency of NRL referees.

I'm sure we all can agree on this - I find it laughable that once xyz scenario has been debated over the radio on the weekends by Hadley and others followed by print media that by the following weekends games refs are blowing their whistle/on report or finally the send off occurs. Has been going on for years rule changes on the fly

Quote: Sponsorship talks between Tom Waterhouse and NRL break down A SPONSORSHIP deal between bookmaker Tom Waterhouse and the NRL appears to have broken down with both parties walking away from negotiations. "We failed to reach agreement around terms with Tom Waterhouse," the NRL's general manager for strategy, Shane Mattiske, told ABC's Four Corners in an interview to be broadcast tonight. Earlier this year, it was reported the NRL had clinched a deal with Waterhouse after the high-profile bookmaker started advertising heavily on Channel 9's NRL coverage. It was reported his combined NRL-Channel 9 deal would be $50 million over five years. The NRL did not sign off on the deal for Waterhouse to replace Tabcorp as the NRL's sports betting sponsor. The breakdown in talks between Waterhouse and the NRL does not affect his deal with Channel 9 which has attracted widespread criticism because of his advertising intruding on broadcasts. The NRL insists the breakdown was not a result of the public backlash against Mr Waterhouse after he appeared on Channel 9's expert commentary panel in March. Tonight's Four Corners investigates the big changes underway in the sports betting business, from Waterhouse to his global competitors and the political backlash against it. 'The Big Gamble' will be broadcast on ABC1 at 8:30pm tonight. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/sponsorship-talks-between-tom-waterhouse-and-nrl-break-down/story-fni3fbgz-1226646411871 #FuckoffTom

+ 1......couldn't stand seeing this spoilt little shit and was appalled having this guy advertise betting before nrl games, as if there isn't enough bad influence on the crap. Boo hoo to the nrl agreeing to this in the first place.

I'm sorry but when I watch the footy I have the expectation that it doesn't turn into the fucking Tom Waterhouse show where they give him his own fucking segment. It's a complete and utter joke and the sooner he has nothing to do with the NRL the better it will be. The media saturation is beyond ridiculous, and then they wonder why people develop gambling problems.

Roar B maybe a punter ? Don't care he nrl and 9 can get f ! Gambling stinks and worse gets the suckers who can't control their urge they to blame as well but don't need to have gambling advertising in our faces as it is nowadays. Manly what can I say but you guys are playing like the ol days - tough defense the last 3 games v's the top big teams great effort storm throwing everything at you set after set then to go into golden point and still hold the draw - we deserved it. We will be in the play offs no doubt about it =d>

But I can't hate the guy for making a smart business decision. Even if his segment is incredibly cringeworthy. Another quality match tonight as well.
