Entertaining game for the neutral though. I thought the Dragons were actually going to go on and put the Dogs to the swords. Both teams struggled with the wind though, especially their kicking games.

Have to LOL at Parramatta both their halves for next season are playing state league football. Such a waste of cap space.

Quote: Sandow’s issues put Eels’ revival plans on hold Midway through last season, Peter Wallace and Corey Norman appeared to be the combination that would help ensure the Brisbane Broncos’ standing as a perennial heavyweight of the NRL continued in the post-Lockyer era. Next season, they may find themselves reunited and charged with the equally imposing job of guiding Parramatta back to relevance, with serious concerns over the immediate playing future of embattled halfback Chris Sandow. Despite suggestions Sandow was preparing to visit a healing farm near Port Macquarie to sort out his troubled private life, family members and club officials at Parramatta insisted the talented young halfback would be going nowhere before season’s end. If Sandow requires time away from the game on compassionate grounds, it is believed the Eels would look to sign Wallace, who is on the lookout for a new home after he and Scott Prince were told they were not part of the club’s plans beyond this year. At $550,000 a season, Sandow’s off-field struggles have become a major headache for Eels coach Ricky Stuart, as he looks to rebuild the team. -PB To be fair, the conditions in melbourne are attrocious tonight. It's wet, windy and even during the day it was just 11 degrees with a windchill of -1 so I can't imagine it's any better now.

Great to have some Sunday football. Good to get the win.
Poor Hodges
Was great to see Maranta dropped.
Thaiday really needed to be subbed at around the 60th minute. He was completely stuffed and hiding in the centres for the last twenty.

I really hope thats not the end of Hodges career. If it is he will go down as one of the best centres to ever play the game, and someone who has become one of the best blokes in the game.

I feel gutted for Hodgo, chatting to him pre season he had never been in better shape, and he looked the best I'd ever seen him for that time of year, even better than his Roosters days. I honestly wouldn't blame him if he called it a day. Rehab is a long and lonely road, especially at the back end of a career

Tonight should let the NRL know once and for all, don't give us any Monday night games at home.

I was finally starting to enjoy this match of cricket because shocking decisions weren't going against us. I turn over to the league to watch my team and then this sort of crap happens. -PB Bulldogs down 10-12 put a bomb up, ball bounces off the face of a Titans player and drops to Josh Reynolds who goes over next to the posts. Video ref somehow comes up with a no try for a knock on, despite the video pretty clearly showing Josh Jackson's hand was under the ball and didn't actually touch it. A few minutes later the Titans score and make it 18-10.
