NSW Premier League side APIA Leichhardt Tigers have commenced their preparations in recruiting players for the up and coming season announcing three new players to their squad.

The Kiwi born duo of attacker Sam Messam and defender Cole Tinkler and former Marconi Stallions custodian Jose Bello Amigo have all been snapped up by the Lambert Park based club.

Messam was top of the pops in 2010 for his former club Macarthur Rams in the NSW Super League after he picked up the competition’s Golden Boot award notching up an impressive 20 goals which caught the attention of several NSW Premier League clubs, but the Tigers won the hunt in signing the big tall marksman.

Joining Messam is fellow Kiwi Tinkler who at 24 has represented the All Whites at U17, U20 and U23 level having also played for his country in the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. The talented defender was also part of the Hyundai A-League having played with the New Zealand Knights.

While finally Bello Amigo has made the switch from rivals Marconi Stallions to the Tigers and is expected to be the number one man under the posts replacing former club keeper Mathew Nash.

The club managed to also re-sign the likes of Robbie Younis, Mark Byrnes, Franco Parisi, Nick Rizzo, John Kelso, Marton Vass and David D’Apuzzo.
