New Violent Soho record has been out for a week now. Anyone else listened to it?

Didn't realise it was out yet. Gonna go find me a copy of it tomorrow. What were they thinking with that album cover though? :? Looks awful.

Not as heavy as their last album, more of a Pixies influence I guess. I was disappointed they left Neighbour Neighbour off the track listing too, really like that track.

Confused as hell at the moment.

Looking at the new 'The 1975' album on iTunes. Like all albums these days, you can buy one with the standard 16 songs or the deluxe version with 34 songs.

The ridiculous part is that the deluxe version literally repeats songs (the same version) and even has one song on there 3 times... Can someone please explain this at all?
If anyone can correct me or point me in the direction of an explanation that'd be amazing.

Doesn't the deluxe version just include the 4 EP's that the band had earlier released?

Parkway were so awesome. I love how it really comes accross as just a bunch of mates playing a show and having fun.

I'm hanging for the new ADTR and Korn albums next month.

Yeah, with Victory Records. ADTR argue that Victory still owe them royalites, and Victory are trying to sue them for not fulfilling their 5 album contract. This is partly why Common Courtesy has taken so long to be released, given the first single came out lasyear. The band are releasing the record themselves whilst battling this lawsuit. The scheduled date is October 8th, but they won't know till October 2nd whether they will be allowed to release the record, due to the lawsuit.

I assume the court case centres around whether the re-release of What Separates Me From You/Old Record counts as two separate albums given the level of unique content.
