For all the folks in Melbourne - Twelve Foot Ninja are playing at Billboards on Friday. Tix are only $25 and I guarantee it will be $25 well spent.

The Punk Goes 90s Vol 2 is solid. The Chunk! cover is incredible, probably better than their Ke$ha one. The Mayday Parade, The Colour Morale and Hands Like Houses covers are pretty cool, and the Yellowcard and Nine Ice Kills versions aren't too bad.

My boys Yacht Club DJs have released their EP. Picked it up plus a T-shirt for $25  http://www.create-control.com/yachtclubdjs/They're only releasing it digitally and on vinyl. Still one of the best live acts (dj or not) I've seen. Well worth checking out, and at the very least liking their FB page! https://www.facebook.com/yachtclubdjs

Paul Dempsey covers Wrecking Ball.
Empirical evidence Dempsey can make anything good.

My mate is in the production process for his band's first album. Got some awesome shit going on. Massive fan of this track: https://soundcloud.com/littledevices/rideAnother mate's band just got signed by Earache Records. So stoked for the bloke. Sound quality isn't great but you get the idea.

Geoff Rickley from Thursday had said the remaining members of Lostprophets are working on an album with his record label. Apparently takes inspiration from The Cure and Joy Division.
Tom DeLonge said last week Ilan Rubin has had a massive influence on the new Angels and Airwaves album. Normally Ton has the final say in the sound/lyrics of the album, but this time Rubin has had just as much say, which he thinks will be their best album yet as a result.
It better be fucking good, because Mark Hoppus tweeted the other day that he and Travis had been ready to record the new Blink album for the the pay two months and Tom was the reason they hadn't started yet.

Has everyone seen what Dig, or Double J, are doing at the moment? Basically playing every known cover of "Express Yourself" by NWA until Double J is officially started tomorrow. I've listened to about 3 covers so far, and they've all been brilliant. http://www.tonedeaf.com.au/news/local-news/401050/double-j-is-playing-the-same-song-on-repeat.htm

Reminds me of 90's techno pop. I see wheels from Spaced dancing to it on a street corner

New Michael Jackson album is out. Timbaland has actually done a great job on it considering its a posthumous release using material from different times in MJ's career

The usual Kerrang wank  Some of the people in there are as high as they are because Kerrang loves them too much. 34, 25, 15, 14, 13, 10, 6, 5, 4 and 2 are too high. 42, 40, 36, 32, 21 and 19 are too low Alex Turner, Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagge, Corey Taylor should be on the list. 49, 44, 37, 31, 26, 24, 20 and 9 shouldn't be on the list.

Ronnie Radke? Brody Dalle? Pete Wentz? Andy fucking Biersack. Rockstars? Sweet fucking jesus.
Surprised Frank Iero is above Gerard and Lexie Foxx is the only Steel Panther member on the list. Its sacrilege not to have Corey Taylor on that list.
