I dont agree with people expecting some teams to do so well simply because they are in the heartland, waratahs averaged 33k in 2005 when they finished first, they average 20k this year and 20k last year when they're coming 11th, Wartahs have finished mostly in the top 5 for the last 10 years yet theyve brought no positivity because of 1 bad season?

Well i've only been following SR in any sort of depth for 2 or 3 years, but I can't remember them ever playing a consistently attacking brand of Rugby in that time. Hell the last two seasons they've been booed off by fans for playing a dour, defensive style kicking game. That they held fan-forums to try and address the fans anger really does show how unpopular that style of play is.
A defensive kicking game might bring results (i'd still debate that though), but it's ugly football, unattractive to watch and is an incredibly dangerous thing to do given how close the game is to becoming irrelevant in the Sydney sporting landscape. Apart from the Reds last year, Aussie rugby has largely not played an expansive running game which is what the game is so loved for.
I'd rather watch us try to play an exciting brand and lose, than see us grind out undeserved wins through kicks and penalties.

The Chiefs beat the Highlanders 27-21. A shame about the Highlanders getting a bonus point but it's still a good result for the Reds.

Not a half bad game really. Rebels show some good spirit to fight back but I think they lack the composure (to coin a cannonism) to put teams away, which will come with time and experience.
Glad the Reds win and keep their finals hopes alive.

Reds have Highlanders(home) and Waratahs(home) for the last 2 games, Brumbies have Waratahs(away) and Blues(home) and play Perth away today. Preety good draws for both but im going for force to beat Brumbies:p

The hurricanes win, not the greatest result for the reds.

Yep Force are a poor excuse for a Super team this year. Injuries haven't helped, but their back line is just terrible unfortunately.

10-25, Force are trying to play a running game, not even going for the spot kick.
