I've never been to Malta, but am considering a trip there. I have several questions, as I know very little about this country.

1. Other than flying, what connections are available to reach Malta?
2. Is there much available in the way of budget accomodations? I've traveled in many parts of Europe and generally stay in hostels for about $20 per night. Does Malta have this sort of accomodations available?
3. I like to travel in off-season times to avoid the crowds. How is the weather in the low-season (January-March, or November-December).
4. What is the language of Malta? How well would someone manage without speaking that language? (I speak English and Spanish well, and manage a little Italian and Portugese).

Walk into Coles at Deepwater Plaza and you're in the dairy section, and there's a man with his pants down around his theighs, fucking a jar of custard. How do you react?

Standing on Gosford train station, going heading down to Sydney's Paddies Markets (you dunno what's gonna happen down there ;) ) - a man jumps in front of a on-rushing countrylink train coming down from Brisbane. The trains hit this bloke at a ridiculous speed of well over 150km/h. Aside from being hit, and thrown another 100m in front of the train, it runs over him. You all scream in horror (the train doesn't know it's hit him and keeps heading towards Sydney). A few of you jump onto the tracks and start running towards this guy. You all think he's well and truly dead - but there's no blood, no chopped up body, nothing to even suggest he's been hit, if anything, he looks peaceful, asleep almost. Then it hits you...the Cityrail Intercity tain heading towards Sydney. You end up dying.
