Well wouldn't surprise me if the falling out was GVE telling Troy Hearfield he is rubbish... Cause he is.

And Two Griffiths, one Elrich, North and a Covic is all he needed to win last season, so why can't he do it again...

Newcastle played very well last season, but they need to replace the players they recently lost.
I don't know if Brebner is the right player to fill the void though, the Song experiment worked try your hand in Asia again ... if not sign another South American one with more skill than Denni, he seemed to fade quickly, good at the start but became ineffective as the season wore on.

GVE seems to be in for a tough time ahead. I hope he gets it together or not only will they finish dead last they'll be embarressing at the ACL

I was going to post this last week but didn't because the person (s) I heard it off are close to troy and I didn't wanna go putting something out in the open that was to be kept under wraps. Anywayz - last I heard he was going to be released but when it came to signing for phoenix last week he was stopped because the jets had failed to sign ahmad elrich. The falling out with GVE is also true as you would notice he was used scarcely at the back end of last yr and failed to make the squad for the gf.

Troy Hearfield is not in top 6 under-25 palyers at the Jets. I'd rather have James Holland or Song on one broken leg then him. There was two separate games last season when he came on as a sub, and was subsequently subbed supposedly without injury. Phoenix can have him.

And to say GVE is a piss poor player manager is ridiculous. The footage of him and the players at a couple of training sessions leading up to the Grand Final as relaxed as could be was proof of that. And I've never seen him lose his cool at a press conference or being interviewed when pressed about an individual's lack-lustre performance.
