A goal is only valid if scored from the head.

A player must take no more than 3 seconds before releasing a pass.

You must touch the ball with two legal parts of the body each possession (left foot, right foot, chest, head) prior to passing.

You can only shoot/pass with your off foot.

Etc.

you can condition the game with the following:
Space
1. Smaller or Larger Area
2. Wider or Narrower area
3. Target areas
4. Safe Zones
5. Shape of the pitch

Task
1. Move the ball using the hands
2. Number of Touches
3. Left or Right Foot (Stronger/Weaker)
4. Communication or Silence
5. Directional or Multi=Directional
6. Number or Sequences of passes
7. Type of pass or shot

Equipment
1. Ball Size
2. With or without Bibs
3. Cones or gates
4. Obstacles
5. Goals (Larger, smaller. Greater, fewer or style)

2. Neutral Players (inside or Outside)
3. Even or Overloaded groups

@ General Ashnak

Yes you've got it exactly right, I'll discuss game conditions in the next post but you've already suggested a number of really interesting types of condition.

The appropriate size of teams depends on age and ability but with a group of 15 I would typically look at having a couple of games simultaneously, perhaps with a 4v4 and a 3v3. This allows you to work with a player 1-to-1 on the side (if they are really struggling with basic technique), or to use an all-time attacker/defender to focus the session.

One of the challenges with this approach is you need an assistant (or two) who can observe each practice and step in to deliver coaching points when the opportunity arises. If you have the support to run two games at once then players will get more touches and the picture can be made clearer for them, allowing better transference to a bigger game.

I've recently started training, waiting for the season to kick off, at the age of 20. Hoping it's not too late for me. I played when I was younger but was never real good. :)

I can see how this would force a player group to focus on particular skill sets during a session, however at what age group are you indicating this should be utilised and how do you then also correct technique or even teach it to a player who does not get it?

If you had a squad of 15 players for example would you set them up in 3 groups of 5 and have team a vs team b whilst team c engages in a skill session and then rotate them through?
