At the end of the day, let the football do the talking...

Question though, what would you call this match? A rivalry or a derby?

As a Sydeny United supporter, since as long as i could breathe, i knew, BWE existed back in the 80s under Avala, and they were just a whipping team...but from the mid 80's to early 00's we never played a single match against them, its like they were non existant, so growing up, our biggest rivarly was Sydney Olympic and our biggest derby was marconi and still is...ive known too hate those teams for a while, and i will always hate olympic more then bonnyrigg.

All of a sudden United V Bonnyrigg is back on the cards, and its a massive rivalry and derby? Ermmm no, not in a footballing sense...but if you want to bring politics, religion etc involved in football then, yes.

Would i love to see United win, yes, but then again i would love to see them win every match...though it will be nice to have the bragging rights over your close neighbours.;)

The media do pump up this match to much, but for all the wrong reasons...this match has been behind closed doors for how long now 5 years? why because of a suffle between 50 blokes out of 5000 crowd? Your tellnig me FNSW couldnt handle this situation "if" it was to occur again...its a much easier option to play it closed doors, then fork out money for security and police...and lets not forget FNSW are very cashed up...If in europe they can contain thousands and thousands of fans, why cant they contain a bunch of idiots here? the sad thing is if both teams make the grand final it will be behind closed doors, where else in the world would you here anything like this, but in Australia? Its pathetic, and so are FNSW, cause they just do not care enough about the fans, and the clubs, (they could of made this into a great spectical if it was organised properly) but at the end of the day, its there back pockets that matter, and the new BMW's they wanna drive.

thats my two cents about this match, for what its worth

Because for many people the wounds are still fresh... the others are just fucking idiots

Can we move on?

Im sick and tired of people like you who have spent their life in Australia where their biggest problem is what to have for lunch judging others who have had to live through hell or see their family live through it.

Fuck off mate.

I agree to a large extent, my point is why cant these fans just go and enjoy the football, why do they have to carry on with the religious and political crap, and their hatred between each other, now genuine decent people miss out on watching........and your right what happens if they are in a grand final?????

because its not just fans of football that will go to the game, it would be people that dont even go to the games, or care about the club, that will destroy it for everyone, and thats mainly the case, because they have there own personal agenda which they think is bigger then the club....Thats what pisses me off the most, ill see a croat that i havent seen all year round at the games, and all of a sudden, he has to prove to everyone he is a massive croat and fight serbs, thats just dumb...happens to both sides.

its a shame that these people will use Football as an escape goat for there issues...

and this happens everywhere, in every race, so to pin point just croats and serbs would be wrong

I agree with you saying shame on those people and its clear most of the Sydney United fans agree about those people ruining the game for everyone but the point is that overall in a crowd of about 4,000 people you will get about 100 who will fight and you people are quick to talk bad about those clubs where they dont stop for one second to tink about the other 3,000+
fans who took no part in the violence.
Never congratulate the good ones but always criticise the bad even though the bad are way outnumbered by the good.
Besides one United fan alredy has stated that the game isnt behind closed doors now and that members of the club are allowed to go watch the game which in that case is not so bad.

As far as I know it's been like that for the last few years where only members of the home team would be allowed in.

United should be favorite to win this
Bonnyrigg 3 games no win yet this season

enough talk about the crowds concerning BWE v SU, seems to be the same discussion year in year out, it gets tiresome, and nothing ever changes.

now speaking on the game, i will be content if United get away with a point, but if we get all three points, it will be a massive statement to the chasing pack, and should set the standard for the rest of the year.

Not a Phase, Not a Trend, SYDNEY UNITED till the END!

BWE always rise to the occassion against us.

No Broadman wont be playing, he starts his suspension against us.
