This is a bit of an admin burden, but worth it for a good derby. And given that there are already 50-75 security guards / Police for 200 spectators at the moment, it would be worth it: 1) Home team is allowed 600 fans. Away team is allowed 200 fans. All of them have to pre-register with their ID 1 week before the game - Police has the right to refuse entry to people with any (!) history of violent conduct. 2) Only people on this guest list are allowed entry. Everyone gets allocated a dedicated seat (I know - it's a bit of admin) 3) If the game is played at Bonnyrigg, BWE fans have to enter via Elizabeth Drive and park at the sports club. SU fans have to enter via Simpson Road. 4) 25 security guards with dogs are positioned on the left side of the SU fans, 25 guards on the right. Post the match, SU fans are guided back to their cars. Nobody is allowed to stand on the left side of the benches or behind the linesmen, so there is a 75m gap between the fans at any time. ==> Creates atmosphere if at least 50 of the guys who scream "Sydney Croatia ole ole ole" are within the SU contingent ==> Creates a relatively safe atmosphere

2 of the 3 games tonight have been postponed because of the inclement weather. Rockdale City Suns v Marconi Stallions Bonnyrigg White Eagles v Sydney United Games will probably be played tomorrow or mid-week I'd assume.

The only reason i can think that the Sutho-Parra game is still on cause Seymour Shaw has artifical turf and won't be turned into a bog.

0-0 half time. Looked like Parramatta scored just before half time, but ruled off-side.

According to the NSWPL facebook page - all scheduled matches for today are going ahead. Apparently the called off game will be played within the next 4 weeks. Hmm

Nice to see Sasho Petrovski still hasn't lost it - He's ripping it up, wouldn't be suprised if we see him again in the A-League next season, if not just for a injury replacement loan.

Blacktown are nothing they were last season. They're very poor this season. Were you even there? If the ref had been up to standard then Blacktown would have got at least a draw out of this game, which would have been well deserved after the red card. His swearing wasn't directed at the ref but as he was moving off to get into position (his back turned) after conceding a soft free kick. You hear swearing all the time and players rarely even get a yellow. And the last goal was gained by committing 2 fouls - one a push and the other a handball right in front of the linesman - and of course the goal stood. Blacktown looked the better team for large parts of the game before the send off, and APIA had to resort to consistent fouls to stop attacks. They should have received more yellows. Both teams conceded unlucky goals, and both teams were unlucky not to score others. Once this hoodoo comes off, then Blacktown will cause quite a bit of trouble in this competition. They are a young team and there are signs that they are starting to work well together.
