Well mate if you listen to Rigas they will be back in the A-League soon and are the best supported club in Australia.

Do what I did and send FFSA an email asking them why FFWA, FNSW, FFVIC and Captial Football have all managed to get pressers in but they haven't.

Well, after a disappointing A league season for Sydney, it's time for me to go back to watch the stallions in the state league, can someone tell me how were the crowds at Marconi last year? I have not watched the state league for years and don't know what to espect, anyway ,in 2011 I'll be back at "the stable"

Pretty poor and the stallions have had very very good sides over the last 4 - 5 years.

As you can see by there website they put zero dollars in markeitng which is sad really.

from what my son says rockdale might have decent crowds this year as well

rockdale will average 1500 if results go well

Expect to be surrounded by 70 old Italian men, or players wives, gfs and families unless they're playing Sydney United, BWE or Olympic.

Marconi is in the state its in because of people like charlie

yeah and when they play olympic, expect to be surrounded by 14 y/o ultras and fat greek men.....and people who are paid to watch

Unfortunately, I think you make a good point Rigas. I don't understand people who think just because they follow an A-League team, they can't follow a local team or vice versa.

Bro - the passion you have for your club is amazing. As much as everyone else on here hates you, most of them with decent reasons, I respect the loyalty you have to your club and I wish the A-League had more people with your dedication - showing up to games regardless of weather, spreading the word, engaging in local communities etc

But I just don't get why you always have to shit-stir. As ralerasic said, and most other football fans agree, Sydney Olympic once were a great club, no doubt - but times change. Regardless of the circumstances, continue supporting your club - and let other people support their club, whether its A-League, VPL whatever.
