And was released on March 3 after putting in just 45 minutes in a friendly where he gave away a penalty and got booked...which isn't a good sign, really.

I liked him at newcastle, i remember a cracker he scored. Odd that he went to shit in his mid-late 20's.

My interest in 'African age' first came about when I was told Rigobert Song had played in 3 world cups by the age of 24. It may be true I guess, but really, with no official birth certificates, who knows?

yes he would. but he wont last that long becasue of his age and he will be a lot of money. if fulham didnt sign jari litmanen i think an a-league club should have gone for him.

We(Perth)have all ready got two great left sided players, Topor-Stanley and Lazaridas and their both good players. Maybe newcastle would be better.
