Amazingly I've seen Ben play for Auckland City. He is very solid. What he's doing still playing in NZ is a mystery. In fact I thought he was playing for Fawkner Blues in the VPL?

When the league started there were multiple bids from Sydney and Melbourne, plus the single bids from the other centres. They had committed to single side in Sydney and Melbourne so that left them with 7 Australian bids and one from across the Tasman. At the start of last year Aus sides had a chance to bid after the Knights failed, the only one there was was Townsville bidding against Wellington. They pulled out then, and fell apart this year. No other bids. It's not just conjecture it is fact, long documented fact.

If Sydney had their way, they would be the only team in the a-league so they stand round & play with each other in the showers 24/7.

Last year against a Premier League attack he helped New Zealand to a draw against Wales.
Do we know enough about the New Zealand league to write it off ?

I don't think Perth are going to come last...
It will probably be Newcastle if things keep going the way they do.

i think perth are looking like the wooden spooners now. would like to see perth gain a couple of good players and be a chance. then if the signings wellignton have made are good ones we cold have a very close a-league season

Felipe drifted in and out of games and was more out of them during the second half of the season.

Wellingont are recruiting well as they knew the position they were weak in was defence and they have gone on to sign a fair few solid defenders. I'm pretty sure they won't be finishing last next season!
