Because AAMI Park would be used for Rugby etc would both the A-League teams always be playing away in the cup?

i think mvc and heart will be the away teams if thats the case so they will probably play say play at bjs and knights stadium

Looking at that draw i couldn't believe how far Kingston City have dropped, from VPL to State League 3.
That Melissa Fisher who wanted to own "Northern Thunder" North Qld team after the Knights failed at the end of season 2 and in season 3 owned Kingston City and had them get into the VPL where she paid for good players like Crucija (in more ways than one :shock: ) and then she went bankrupt and they must've have been stable since.

Sad to see Middle Park and Old Melburnians out, we played them in pre-season and both clubs were excellent to deal with.

Fisher-Massa has funded several teams in the past, but for most of the recent past she was at Altona Magic. Her departure from there coincided with their demotion to state league 1.

Kingston were a smalltime club for many years until some local Greek businessmen decided to throw some cash around. That money lasted until about halfway through their first season in the VPL. They scraped into the finals in 2006, and got relegated the year after.

Also, clubs in the state leagues can't be owned by individuals.

Kick-off is at 15:00. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for concession - please note that 2011 SMFC Memberships do not provide access to the Mirabella Cup fixtures.

Green Gully defeated Mldura United 18-0 yesterday. Biggest win so far in the history of the Mirabella Cup.

bit of a training game could have had 20 goals easily with some of those misses, yarraville didnt even have a shot on target, clearly the zonal system needs to be re jigged
