Seems a bit of an unnecessary purchase, don't know how they're going to fit 3 foreigners of first team quality in the lacking central positions under the salary cap (even accounting for marquees) whilst having such a wealth of options on the flanks.

Not another winger - please! We have too many wingers! But I do hope this is true as David Williams is quality, and would add a lot of competition for the wing spots and the striker spots.

Dugandzic, Zahra, Behich, Worm, Hoffman, Imbrahim, Terra and Williamns all fighting for the wing spots? Could be a good and bad thing.

didn't impress me much during sydney's ACL campaign but maybe that was due to playing in a poor team
he would fit nicely in melb hearts playing style and would develop as a better player with melbourne heart

Why not? Quality addition to a quality team. Makes perfect sense to me if you can get your head around having so many wingers..

Not our ideal striker, need someone stronger on the ball with a little more experience and aerial presence, but nonetheless he would still be a quality addition as he can play wide and as a central stiker (which we so often saw him do at NQF)

Where's the spine of the team? No strikers, no decent central mids, only one decent CB... and they sign another winger. Crazy.

Williams would make a fantastic inside forward if partnered with someone great next to him
