Never heard of Dickov? Dont you follow the English game? He's an angry little fella, but a great competitor, even though he has seen his best days. I believe he's Scottish.

I would have preferred Dickov to Dadi, to be honest. Dickov still scores goals (5 in 7 games for Blackpool this year) and was February's Championship Player of the Month. So he's still got something to offer.

But now we've signed Dadi, I'm not sure we should be signing another slow, old, experienced striker to partner Rukyavysta (and waste another international spot).

I can't see it happening with Dadi here.

Actually he is Welsh, i know, doesn't sound it but he is.. He is past his best but did ok for city a couple of years back and is still in the startiing line up at Blackpool.. Bring him in I say, could add something to the league

Dickov is/was a good epl player, if i remember correctly, he played for a few clubs, blackburn, leicester etc. Would be great for an A-league club to have him.

I suppose for Perth it would be a good signing, havnt heard much of him of late so cant really say how he has been performing. Surely he will offer something more than some of the current crop of aussie players. I suppose we will only know what he has to offer or what he can offer once hes playing on the field.

he could be useful for perth. but it could be a hit or miss signing though. and he could possibly pass on is experience to ruka

i remember dickov playing for city during the mid to late 90's. was solid. he's 36 though. go for youth perth!

Well some more shit has come to light. Dickov has been loaned out twice in a row, blackpool his current club and another, hes been loaned out by man city, the same man city who have ties with perth glory. put 2 and 2 together and you get what? A one year loan deal maybe.

There's another Man City? Perth Glory couldn't be related to the Premiership team... Hence this 'Dickov' fella couldn't be any good...

Hate to tell you this, but they are linked. There's about 7 clubs, I believe Chonburi in Thailand (the club in the AFC Champions League), and Grasshopper in Switzerland are also part of it.

Three things I've got to say here.

Firstly, Brett Mackenzie you are such an idiot. Were you living under a rock for the past decade? Dickov was once an Arsenal trainee, played for quite a few teams including EPL teams Blackburn(go the rovers)and Man City, the team Glory have an alliance with(and i'm surprised Marty B hadn't heard of it) and he also has 10 caps for Scotland.
