I received a email from the victory today Melbourne Victor vs Juventus FC,Telstra Dome on Friday, 30 May, kick off 8:00pm.

Its juventus, a while back they announced on their website that they're doing a trip of asia and australia. when they say the name australia on its own that means its pritty frigin concrete lol so we hope its true, and i hope its the victory however forza la magica juve

would be good for the game here in aus, but it will be interesting to see if they field their first teams and how we can match up to them.

Its been reported a few times that Juve will be down here during the off season. But the catch is that any player involved in Euro2008 won't be coming down. So Buffon won't be in goals :(

But to see Nedved and possibly Del Piero own Melbourne will be great! :twisted:

edit: but it COULD mean that Van Stratten gets a game in his home country. That would be great for him.

We wouldn't be competitive with an A-League All-Star team either, why bother gathering up everyone when we're gonna lose anyway?

Why Victory? Sydney's already had the LA game, Bris-Vegas could have it and I don't think Adelaide and Perth get the numbers to be an attractive option.

I dislike the Victory, but will cheer them on in such a game, as i do in the ACL...tis the only decent Aussie thing to do.
