Skysports.com is reporting Crystal Palace are considering a move for free agent defender Patrick Kisnorbo.

The Australian centre back is out of contract this summer after his Leeds United deal expired.

Kisnorbo missed virtually the whole of last season as he recovered from the Achilles injury sustained in March 2010.

Leeds were keen to see Kisnorbo in pre-season training before deciding whether to extend his Elland Road stay.

Crystal Palace now keen on luring the uncompromising defender away from their Championship rivals to Selhurst Park.

Yeah, he just needs to prove his fitness in preseason though and they will offer him a new contract.

The manager is really keen for him though, he's a fan favorite and brings him up in almost all interveiws lately.

Wants him to pair up with Woodgate if they sign him.

El-Abd and Elphick will both be out for the early part of the season leaving us very bare in that position so it's inevitable we'll sign a centre back, I'd be very happy if it was Kisnorbo.
