I know of three transfer of players to the a-league form state league clubs whereby the FFA and the clubs have not paid the monies yet
1 - Ian Ramsey from Sydney Olympic to Adelaide the $3k is still owing
2 - Shannon Cole from Sydney Olympic to Sydney FC the $457 still owing
3 - Bruce Djite from Marconi to Adelaide United the $3k still owing
How can this be aloud? I thought the a-league was introduced to bring in professionalism

And of course you have no evidence whatsoever to back this up do you?
I am going to be generous and move this to the rumour mill.

Fucking  at this. Seriously what drugs are you on because it must be some good shit. Djite only ever played youth league for Marconi for one season and and never signed a professional contract. He wasn't even signed by Adelaide from Marconi, he went to Adelaide from the AIS ffs. So what the fuck are you going on about. So tell me again why do Adelaide owe Marconi money? Mate, you are so bad at this. Obviously you have some insider knowledge on Olympic, but the other two are just made up so that you don't look like ridiculous.

Edited by sydneycroatia58: 4/7/2011 10:53:21 PM If Djite was a Marconi Youth player then went to Adelaide via the AIS then Marconi is entitled to part of the $3,000 COMPENSATION FEE for a player who signs his first professional contract. All the junior clubs he played for are entitled a share of the $3,000 COMPENSATION FEE. The AIS is not entitled to a part of the compensation fee as per FFA regulations. Check the FFA transfer and compensation regulations its all there. Now if the compensation fees have been paid I don't know. Edited by Arthur: 5/7/2011 10:24:13 AM

Edited by Arthur: 5/7/2011 10:24:13 AM There is no point in discussing this, the people who don't bother reading the regulations bring it up time and time again without any grounding in the way this is sorted (not you Arthur!). The FFA is responsible for the processing of all compensation moneys from HAL club to junior clubs. Marconi should also, along with every other Australian junior club involved, received a portion of the 10% of the transfer fee secured for Djite, that the FFA takes on top of their 10% skim, for distribution to his junior (i.e. amateur) clubs. Technically HAL clubs are exempt from the payment of development fees according to the FFA's own rules, even though they are the only clubs that sign their players only on professional contracts...
