I think the first edition of 442 AU was july or august 2005. Which makes it about 3 years old dimwit...#-o #-o And what I'm on about is the magazine needs to be revamped, an overhaul, its needs some new life bred into it and what they would normally do in the magazine publishing world when something is starting to go stale is bring in a new editor,or in this case a new editor in chief!!! =d> =d> I did a little bit of an experiment... My local newsagent had 12 editions out the day 442 came out yeah and what I did was slightly mark the cover on the top three of them a certain way. Result 2 weeks later they still have 12 editions and all the ones with slighty bent covers are still there..... Conclusion They have not sold a single copy of 'straya 442 in two weeks whereas Soccer International sells out regularly in that particular newsagent. Edited by The Far Corner: 20/4/2008 07:33:33 PM

LOL - i think they'd know if they were struggling in the sales department. Plus it doesnt matter if the newsagents continue to buy them. having said that, i do prefer SI...

I didnt mean 3 years what you were on about, i meant, making a topic about the whole idea is a bit silly. The only reason soccer international sells better is because more people know about it and in my case its about a 3rd of the price. Its also got more content football related but its pretty boring.

;) Hi mate We've already got John the former editor of SI on board...he's just launched our state league section in this month's issue. When you were in the newsagent marking up copies you should have had a flick through and you'd have seen ;o) Good to see you back Andy

Well thats a start innit Andy?
S'pose it makes sense to get John in and let him get his feet under the table and get used to things before you move him into the 'editor in chiefs' seat yeah???
Anyway with this new state league section I hope there's gonna be plenty on Sydney United and Melbourne Knights?
After all 'strayan sockah owes these two fine football clubs everything a fact I'm sure everyone will agree with??? ;)
BTW when's Fozzie gonna get a column?

Fozzie can have all the columns he likes when hell freezes over. With the way this world is going (not that i give a flying fuck) that "hell freezing" statement doesnt carry as much wait as it used too.

Well at least Fozzie wont beat about the bush when it comes to passing comment on the game like some of the other 'columnists' employed by 'straya 442..... It would be good to read some proper technical and tactical analysis on the Z League from 'strayas senior football analyst and you never know 'straya 442 might even sell a few more copies to boot!!! :-" :-"

Mmmmmmmm.
This outreaching for attention, is an indicator of an abusive or absent childhood. You provide comments and information clearly intended to garner a response, so that you feel wanted.
You crave attention, you feel a deep emptiness when your opinions are not listened too, forcing you to make statements you know will draw your victims into a discussion. By attacking your victims beliefs they are sure to defend them, thus allowing you to attack again, continuing the vicious cycle..
It may be that you also have no social skills and thus find the safety of a computer and a forum more comforting then the dread and fear you feel when trying to talk to someone face to face.
Whatever form of abuse you may of suffered as a child, be it mental or physical, you may find it better speaking with a counsoler on a regular basis then lashing out at people here.
The first step in recovery, is admiting you have a problem.

"The far corner" - suits dunnit, where he used to sit at lunchtime when all the other kids were playing with their friends. Friends... stings doesnt it? Seriously. What do you want? Your own appreciation thread or something, coming in here to stir things up, why? At least when i stir things up it related, albeit loosely. Edited by mk0825: 21/4/2008 08:34:45 PM

For the love of fuck...why do you bother TFC?? You were a fucking numpty as 'The Frontliner', you were a fucking numpty the first time you were in here under this pseudonym and you're a fucking numpty now. There's nothing wrong with the job Paul does. Quote:Another majestic and splenderous post from the sharp-witted mk 0825 the doyen of the 'straya442 forum intelligentsia...... He does raise a valid point. Why dont' you just take your troglidytic, iritating and pointless opinion and head back to twg forums? Seriosuly, why the hell would you come in here just to criticise the place?? If it's that bad (both here and the magazine) then don't read it! Problem solved. Ciao cockbite. Door's over there ->

You just step away from the corner and TFC takes your place. His name will be ironically appropriate.
