Perth Glory boss Ian Ferguson has confirmed plans to bring Julius Davies back to Australia.

The Bayern Munich whizkid is available on-loan and Glory have registered their interest. The A-League face competition from German clubs, however, and Ferguson is cautious about talking up the prospect of a homecoming for the Perth-raised prospect.

"We are trying to get another quality player here and Julius is one but we are still waiting on the agent getting back to us," Ferguson told the West Australian.

"We are talking to other players at the moment as well, so there are a couple of things on the go."
